Old School Skunk, who's found it???

4 or so month cure and when I barely begin to unscrew the plastic jar I'm using to keep Green House Seed's The Church, and it smells like road kill skunk, very strongly. More so than most other strains I've grown that smell skunky. I'm willing to bet its the super skunk in it. I'll be growing different super skunks once I get a better place to grow...

Just leaving this info here for anyone looking for skunky strains...

Interesting ive never detected very skunky smells in the church mind you it never lasted 4 months to cure with us so maybe thats why if memory serves me right its ss x swiss genetics might need to try it again somepoint i still got some of the doctor from years back in the stash that was a belter as well from them and another ss cross that ones pungent but more white leaning than skunky ime but still a great yielder and nice smoke

Actually Shit from Mr Nice would be a great one to try and find the RKS in or any old Afghani line. I’ve found my 2 keepers one was from bag seed called Rock Bud from my area which is straight ran over in the wheel well skunk and the carbon filter doesn’t help. The other is a little more on the BO piss smell. I’m running 1996 skunk from a Kentucky guy right now along with uncle festers skunk #18 which is not RKS.

Shits pure skunk#1 mate its just shanti writes it strange as always with his lineages simply put its a line thats afghan dominated skunk1 theres no afghan in it besides the mazari thats already in skunk#1 the line from kentucky probably have more promise one would have thought you always here lots of rks came from there shame u didnt find anything killer in them yet as for ghani lines balkhi/chimtal can be pretty foul for example

each to there own just watch for herms if you do end up trying his skunk lots of folks complaining about that line and yeah some afghanis and pakistanis hold the stink still imo also

I know who Arjan is.... im not particularly a fan of GHS but I picked up The Church not knowing the Church I smoked with a friend around 2000 was the nyc piff.... I grew it out not expecting much but it's skunky for certain..

I do smell stuff that people are smoking up here around Albany and the odor is real skunky, surprisingly so, must be modern strains, or maybe sour diesel for al li know... i somehow lose my nerve for asking them what it is, there are some real ghetto people up here and I'm kind of protective over who I talk to.. next time I smell that strong skunk odor I'm going to ask and report back here...

I do smell stuff that people are smoking up here around Albany and the odor is real skunky, surprisingly so, must be modern strains, or maybe sour diesel for al li know... i somehow lose my nerve for asking them what it is, there are some real ghetto people up here and I'm kind of protective over who I talk to.. next time I smell that strong skunk odor I'm going to ask and report back here...

Yeah arjans his only reedeming quality is he has got quite a few folk out the nick with his money back in the day in holland when they got busted but he is a buisiness man he does not care about the plants anyone who did wouldnt leave seeds in source countries to me clearly that is unforgivable imo i gotta give them there due when it comes to marketing too if only the put the same amount of effort into there gear

The Church is a very berry smelling plant low grade mids, maybe you found the gem

A very old friend of mine, who grows on a commercial level, on and off, in various states, has smoked a handful of the strains I grew these last few years.... Talking on the phone last night, he smoked The Church and almost immediately had trouble talking. He was wrecked. He has a ton more smoking experience than I do and he said its the best strain I've given him so far, followed by Strawberry Diesel. I have about 16 more strains for him to try and I will update.

Also wanted to add, The Church smells skunky but also has a garlic undertone.. After seeing what it did to my friend, I almost want to smoke it. I've been thinking about it all day. I'm going to give it to my ex, who is a light weight, and see what the experiment brings, and report here again.

How is it that shopping for seeds almost every seed company has a skunk, or a version of it and not a single one is like the old? All the strain advancing,breeding, and knowing how to feminize,create true breeding strains,,and yet the real old skunk was lost? And they can’t make a new one? I understand nowadays people want high t h c levels or c b d strains but seriously they can’t bring An old strain back to life? Also how companies get away with calling it skunk, super skunk, ets… why not rename it sweet skunk, new not skunk skunk, old line skunk that lost the smell u want, or anything other than skunk? I feel like every time I buy skunk seeds I’m preparing for a let down and yet I keep buying and searching? I guess it’s like the search for a purple plant that actually produces well yet retains that perfume smell and uplifting high… I’m starting to believe deep down it’s a worthless search…maybe my wife is right,I should stop buying skunk seeds and stick with planting the hundreds of crosses and S1’s I’ve made!! But damn it I can’t allow her to be right! Lol
.please someone find the roadkill skunk I need,,,,I will buy the damn seeds from you so long as it’s really skunk skunk!

I'm currently growing a Royal Dwarf Auto from Royal Queen Seeds and it stinks of skunk. My carbon filter doesn't seem to remove all the skunk smell and my basement smells like there is a skunk living in it.

I won't be growing any more of these. Stinky Skunk.

That would be a lowbudget scrubber. Mountain Aire makes em better. Maybe its their Australian carbon
