Please help me find the males :)

Strain is super silver haze, suppose to have a nice stretch, even up to 2X

Usually I ran 3-4 plants in the tent, and I had some strains that like to stretch, GSC for example
I am working with scrog and super cropping, so no issue, but good advice I will aim for 2-3 top, depend on the final pot size.

"Yield is proportional to root volumes." - yea that's why I want to move them to 11 liter, or even 18 if I will leave only 1 or 2.

Good point about the topping,
I will wait few more days.

Thank you very much for the help
(:
Ok so SSH is a good strain. They look good. SSH can yield well so I’d wait and run the best female or two. Keep topping the moms hard for even canopy until the clones or moms show show then up pot.

Much better strain for yield than GSC and I think some phenos of SSH can go up to 11 weeks and make large buds.

According to Nirvana its 9-11 weeks.
I am a bit afraid of large buds, I had bud rot twice with very big buds, so I break the branches (kind of super crop) into the scrog net to create a canopy of smaller buds.

I usually do 4 in , but not sativas...

Last question, do you think I should top now, and not after transfer to bigger pot?

If you top and train you should get more buds of the same size as you already know.
I’d say top whenever you like and when you need to. I wouldn’t worry what pot they are in when topping.
It probably makes sense that topping in the smaller pot is a good idea as the topping slows growth while the plant redirects its growth so that buys you some time?
So top in small pots then by the time they have new shoots you may be able to up pot and top again and then go 12/12.
I think the timing should be close to right with that approach?

When I do a new strain I research as best I can of others grow diaries etc to get an idea of what I’m in for and what to look for.
Once you have a few clues then you can sit in front of your plants and space and make a plan.
I’m also of the belief that breeder packs usually only have one or two keepers in them so reducing to that number is usually my aim and the best outcome.
I usually pick my keepers when the plants show sex but I cull and runts and mutants early. Biggest and best leaves and smell are a couple of my most important traits to choose.

I don’t think SSH rots too bad either.

Yes, I love training them... I get full canopy of buds.
I always run a diary on my grows and I do use them for planing.
I have found some females, so tomorrow I will leave 4 suspected females and top them as the approaching 50 cm height.. too much
Attaching photos

How did it go?
HI man
The cuts where a disappointment, I don't see any signs yet, after 24 days.
I guess the move to the small pots stressed them out... I should have done it earlier
Waist of time.. but I learned. Also learned about pre flowering and how to find the sex.
Look at the photos

SEX photos and conclusions:

Plant 9 is male
Plant 2 is male
Plant 7 female!
Plant 3 probably female too
Plant 5 female
Plant 8 male, but I am not sure
Plant 6 male
Plant 1 - not sure.. look like a male to me not sure.
Plant 4, no signs yet (its not in the photos)

Going to keep 7+3+5+4 and the choose the best 2 out of them.

I originally planed on flipping in 10 days but not sure they will be ready, so I will see after the topping.
I also plane on pot transfer to 11 liter or 18 liter, not sure yet..

It its better to jump from 7 to 18, or I need to transfer to 11, wait for them to grow and move to 18?

I can jump 18 soon, and be careful with watering. But the other thing is I will have to choose plant faster, cause I can't hold more than 2 of 18 liter in my tent.
I can do 4 of 11 liter, let them grow then decide and move them to 18 litter but then it look like an extra transfer...

They are getting too tall... tomorrow cleanup, I will keep only 4 plants and top them
It’s a jungle in there! :p
What I’d do is maybe look at running plants 5&7 in one container together rather than two 18’s.
If they are getting tall then maybe you could find a large volume low height container and put plants in opposite corners/side and lay them over past each other and then have them under a net. If you did that to them and topped them that would go off.
Then I’d cut plants 3&4 into clones. Your other clones probably didn’t show sex because their roots were not established. Roots produces flower hormone afaik.

All males from what I can see...

I'd wait for #3 to make sure, if a hair comes out of that thing in a week or so... if not, toss with the rest..

** after looking at your other photos, seven was not in the originals and plant 5 I think is a surprise... but i also see no hairs on #3, so I'd watch for that....

Thanks, I will deal with the height with the scrog net, yes.
No more clones for me.. had enough of it this time. and I am not saving mothers as I don't have place.
I will wait for per flower signs

Aye you mess with the right bit of the root and you can reverse it however those seeds will probably carry the herm trait so i dont advise it this is how escobar and soma and some others made there seeds all natural "chemical free"
