Too many yellow leaves in flower?

When you say bin? You mean you’re jarring it up today? Put a hygrometer in a jar or two. Trim all your buds and weigh em up. Weight is usually based on dried, trimmed. I have the exact same snips as you. Lol.
Just a plastic bin to see if I can trim and jar or need to dry a few more days. Pretty sure I have a few more days but crispy on the outside. I am just not wanting to dry them out too much this tike.

Confused why you’d take take them down from hanging to a bin. Trim up one jar throw a hygrometer in there give it 24hrs to stabilize. You’ll have a good idea when dry. Small stems snap. Large ones I find bend with a crack. Than it’s trim and jar. If to moist then you pull out on a screen or something 2-3 then back into jar with hygrometer. 60RH give it take a few % points. You’re curing. I’d skip the bin.

Ya - I am gonna hang them back up, the small stems still bend. It stabilized at 70% rh in the bin so pretty close. I just kinda wanted to make sure I wasn’t over dry yet..something that has happened every year prior. Another day or two and these should be ready to trim.

But yeah I’d say pretty darn close to 8oz. My first plant looked similar as far as branch and bud, I got 9.65oz. So I’d say that sounds like a fair guesstimate. But you want to weigh it regardless.
Nice! You are going to need a lot of jars for all 6…:)~

Ahh ok. Fair enough. A couple more days should be good.

Lol. I have lots. But I had to buy more lid caps. Should be good to go. Should be pretty close for next trim and jar tomorrow evening. Harvest next plant Monday. Thank god for this tarp. Been raining for 3 days. Sun back Monday for a bit. So with any luck I’ll see the finish line. Multiple daily inspections for rot now. Bit so far so good.

It’s a data point for me. I read hrs & hrs on mold and high rh on here but i gotta see it ya know? I am solving a few things every year. I never really had dense bud b4 so this is all uncharted territory. Now I know what 70% “squeezes like”. Lmao

Yeah I hear you. Mold scares the piss out of me. And with so many getting it this year it’s like I’m just expecting it. But I am managing to keep the dry under the tarp. The Rh around them is 99. But the airflow remains really good, the girls themselves remain dry. I defoliate often. All I can do. Hope for the best. But I haven’t seen any yet. I get right in there peel apart buds.

That’s great. Can’t even believe how challenging your conditions are. We have some rain in the forecast late next week but it’s been months. I still have 25% just chillin on the plant

The other thing I figured out is the bud rot I had wasn’t caterpillars I don’t think…cause I’m not getting any now that she is super airy (all the big stuff off the top). I still am trying to identify caterpillars VS just bud rot because they look similar too me. I know I had caterpillars last year

Nice! Yeah bloody drought all summer with raging wildfires. Put on evac alert twice this summer. To now so much rain. A few frosts. I can’t believe they’re all still alive and continue to ripen.

Just chopped mine down today. Starting to see more Pilar’s so spraying down cuts with light dose of h
Thurivide then water in the morning and let dry on tooth floss tied to the inside of a long banker box where’s it’s dark and cool w some ventilation.
Are you gonna monitor temp & RH during the initial dry or do you have an eye for it already?

not too concerned about temp just keeping it drying in the darkness of my bankers box and another plastic flat box. going to do a rinse and shake with some water and let the dry again because of the thuracide from the day before.

This is what’s left on the plant for the second harvest. It’s all fattening/hardening up and gonna be choice. Bud rot slowed wayyyy down but we did get a sprinkle of rain last night so check it tonight
