Try and use EC when talking about TDS(ppm). Makes life easier for everybody.

Your 1200ppm is prob different than my 1200ppm. But .4ec will always be .4ec.

Unless you have the exact same lights, exact same environment take anybody advice with a grain of salt.
That's what I was thinking too. Everybody is throwing around ppm numbers and we have no idea if they are actual or what scale people are using. EC keeps everybody on the same page.

the products I use will list different specs than others but I do like to compare products.... here is my feeding schedule from cultured solutions
I use cultured solutions and so far have found the ppm value to be way too low.
I am running 750 tds (500 scale) at week 5 veg and still have some deficiencies

I accidentally was using the drain to waste for the first 5 weeks of veg.....oops. no deficiencies there for me!

If your EC is right, it shouldn't be dropping
if the plants are locked out, the EC won't drop either. hmmmm...

in a real world situation with individual buckets, EC will never remain the same for very long.

a slight daily drop of EC (and of course water level) is preferred by me. it proves they are eating. which the OP's plants are not.

It can be a challenge running a few separate dwc pails,ea one will be different. You try to find one mix that makes them all happy.
For those that are new try really low EC and see how it goes.Slowly add food and observe .I once grew a plant in just calmag and water, was only in veg but it did just fine.

Thats why I shared the chart.
If the EC stays the same, and water level is dropping, its good. You know they are drinking without needing to see EC drop
In a perfect world, yes the EC won't move up or down but its not a perfect world.
You are right nutes are locked out if ec is stagnet and water level doesn't drop much.
Or if water level drops and EC rises somthing is not right.
A daily slight drop is ec is not bad for sure to see though, as long as it isn't 50-100 tds in 24 hours. Then the girls might be hungry

So I've let them drink up what I have in there no bucket changes just water top offs and ph adjustments. Sitting at 1000-1100 per bucket again I need to look at my meter to see how to measure with ec. Roots growing away from the ball now towards the bubbles in all corners! Those diffusers really help the roots spread out and use the whole bucket. Plants look great so far still
