Complete Newbie setup

Hello Everyone,

So I’m getting my “shopping list” together for my first ever indoor grow.

Have a few things on my list already but just unsure if I’m leaning towards the right direction.

Going with a 8x4x6.5 tent.VivoSun to be exact.

Currently looking at 2 1200watt led full
spectrum Bestva lights.

AC infinity Cloudline T6 (not sure if it’s necessary)

Vivosun 6in Air carbón filter

Not sure what size oscillating fan to go with.

Pretty much looking to get its full potential out of the size im working with.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

You’re building a car with a Cadillac body and a Volkswagen engine. Those lights are not going to do it.

This made me laugh so hard!!

On a serious note you definitely have a point with respect to lighting. It is going to be one of the most important factors so be prepared to make an investment.

There’s loads of brands out there so your going to have to do the research to figure out which one works best with your scenario.

HLG, Timber, Rabid, Green Sunshine Company are some to name a few and get you started. Go to google/YouTube and check out videos read the info and figure out what works for your situation. They all offer great lights but each are also different in their own way.

I’m in a 4x4 and am running 4x QB 288s which are providing beautiful coverage for my space.

I choose HLG because of the flexibility it offered me to do my own wiring and configuration. This also lets me expand with minimal expense when I’m ready to do so. Key takeaway is this worked for my needs not suggestion it is your solution.

Besides reanalyzing your choice of lighting I would also suggest some intake alongside your exhaust plans which would give you more control over climate and better air flow. In theory the 6 inch may be sufficient but I would suggest you consider something larger which would offer you more flexibility for your space.

Advice like this ^^. My neighbor has at least 5 LED lights laying around because they just couldn’t cut it in flower. Amazon specials. Listen to these guys who have already figured a lot of this out.
