How often to top ?

Growing multiple strains at 43 n in 80 gallon raised beds of promix bx and composted sheep manure. How often should I top and do I top every top ? They’re starting to grow pretty fast and want to know how much is enough to pinch. Plants are in full sun

How big are your plants (count the nodes)
I usually top three times...
Let plant recover b4 u top again (if u top more than once)

Well the thing is that you only have 5 weeks of veg left, so one more top would do ya good, you could probably do 2 toppings and still get some nice colas. And yes you top every top.

Roughly 20-25 nodes on main stalk, I topped 3-4 times already, a week between toppings. Just didn’t want to overdue it and stress plants out

It can be overdone. The more of a bush you make, the more air flow/circulation will be impacted. Most outdoor growers in my area top the main stalk once and call it good.

Just something to keep in mind so you don't pull your hair out this fall due to mold issues.

I have seen just the opposite topped plants have smaller buds with less chance of mold.shit if I didn't top my outdoor girls buds would be the size of my legs don't want that in the northeast.

I topped just once. I wouldve topped more but theyre bushy enough for my liking. Gotta start cleaning out the middle and bottom branches for more sunlight.

Back in the day when I had strains that would veg for a couple of months, I would top every week if the plants were growing fast. My most was topping 7 times, or 128 main tops.
