What is The Dream Realm?

Is it a part of real life? Can you feel pain while in The Dream Realm?? What happens when you enter The Dream Realm as opposed to being awake? Is dreaming similar to being in a hallucinogenic trip but more visuals and less physical effects? Are you the only person in the "Dream Trip" or are there visitors inside peoples dreams? How long do all of your dreams last, approximately? And how elaborate and intricate are your dreams? What are they all about? Do certain things change what they are about like hallucinogenic chemicals or other things?

For me personally, certain dreams I have had in the past were more realistic then my actual real life. They seemed to be more scarier, personal, and real than actual real life.

I don't feel pain in my dreams, but they can still scare the crap outta ya. My dreams are all over the place, one night I could be running from a lion in the jungle, the next I'm playing baseball for the sox. It's not reality far from it, more like a hyper-inflated expression of your subconscious mind, the subconscious becomes conscious bc the real world is no longer distracting you. Three recurring themes in my dreams are being chased by dangerous animals, falling from heights, and living in different homes and working in different trades, the funny part is those homes feel so familiar to me even though I've never been there they actually feel like home. If I could record my dreams I would be a millionaire bc they are very entertaining, its amazing the creative power that lies dormant inside of us.

I don't dream when I smoke regularly.

That's one of the reasons I smoke though. Dreams are confusing, so detailed i can't tell them from reality. Practice lucid dreaming, it takes some work but can really give you the means to explore your inner mind (because that's what's being manifested when lucid dreaming)

Being chased by animals or falling seem like fear based expressions of sub-conscious. I get dreams like that as well and take it as a sign I have internal work to do on fear based thinking. Mainly I try to be aware of fear based thoughts and not spin on them. Replace them. Not sure if this will someday eliminate those dreams or not, maybe just part of the human condition?
