Hello Everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post First off I'm working on a Bestva 2000watt Elite LED light fixture and I have some burnt Diodes I Believe the are 3watt 2pin cob emitter diode's not 100% sure I also have a question about the board the diodes are mounted too under each diode I believe Bestva was nice enough to mark what diode should be installed I already assume IR means Infrared Radiation but I need to know what BG, BS ,CS, HG, HS, LS, NB ,ZL is so that I can order new diodes and replace them I am also looking for recommendations on who and where to purchase these replacement Diodes. model # GW-AQM 55B I have been Emailing Bestva Daily with no return email hopefully someone out there has been through this before and will easily be able to give me the right information

Between time, effort, shipping etc i doubt it would be worth it. Usually IR means Far red in this case since almost none of the china boards carry real IR.

I would just get some bridgelux vero se chips and rip those boards off and slap the veros in it. US company that stands by their product. Veros come with a industry leading ten year warranty. If bestva wont return you're emails then going to be pretty tough to find replacement diodes. Anyways thats what I would do with that light if the drivers have a good voltage , would make it more efficient and it would grow better buds too.

I'm Not Worried About Time Or Money I'm here solely to answer my Questions which are Does anyone have the Diode Diagram for A Bestva Elite 2000watt Grow light model# # GW-AQM55B..???? Also to any LED LIGHT BUILDERS do these letters look familiar to you at all ??>>>.... BG, BS ,CS, HG, HS, LS, NB ,ZL these letters are located below each diode... Also, at the very worst if I can't figure out which spectrum goes where or if I cant purchase new diodes to replace the original at this point I would be then open to complete rebuild ideas for this LED Light Fixture BUT Please if your going to leave a comment about completely replacing internal parts just Please do your homework and at least check the specs and compatibility and be as thorough as you can be thanks again hopefully someone blesses me with this information today ;)

Not the slightest on those chips and i doubt anyone would know. Most people around here dont get into the pink light.

As for revamping your light: its really up to you to supply some info on those drivers/PSUs.
If you open it up and either check the specs (if available on the casing of the drivers) or measure their output it would be easy to rec some possible components.

Sorry if this seems unhelpfull. Most people here know quite a bit about building lights and can help out if you have some specs but we dont really have a library of components on these lights. Theyre generally china made, theres thousands of different models, and the components might not even be the same in all units of the same model.

Also, if you check your own pics youll find that theres 2 chips both labeled NB but the chips arent the same, you can see that its one phosphor white and another, possibly red . NB does not designate a specific chip. Maybe its more like coordinates or indicating that they are in the same string. Best of luck

Lmfao you want me to do your homework. You must be smoking some good shit buddy. I was trying to be helpful because what you are asking is pretty much not going to happen those codes are not universal threw out the LED light market. If they were you could google 3 watt BG led chip and get a replacement part like you can with IR. IR is the only standard code in your line up. But hey sorry to suggest you build a better light with top grade LED's. I figured that if you have to skillz to resolder diodes you could handle putting quality diodes in your fixture. If you do get replacements I hope you take it to a professional to get fixed.

Why bother??
a week after you spend double what that cheap light is worth fixing it more diodes are going to fail.
Best place for that light is the garbage bin. Once you come back to reality and want to buy a proper light you will get more help here.
I quote Bestiva
"TOP Service: We provide 24-hour service. We will do our best to help you solve any problems. Join us and enjoy Your Indoor Plant Growing!"
Your 2000 watt light is less than 400 watts output and the efficiency of the diodes and driver are as low as money can buy.
I bet a 200 watt HLG light will out grow that door stopper you wanna sink more money into.
Good luck with your quest!

Growlight buyers advice tossed around here a lot:
- Dont buy a light that claims one high wattage and then another low power draw. Theyre almost allways poopoo
- Dont buy a light which doesnt tell you what diodes theyre using, brand, model and bin if applicable
- Dont buy a light that wont post theyre PPF/w: how good the light is at making photons out of electricity
- Dont buy any of the lights on Amazon unless its a HLG quantum board and never, ever believe any of the noobish and fake light reviews.

I realize this thread reads like a F-you and i really dont mean to put you off.
If your desperate to work on this light there is one approach that might work but its a bit of a moonshot but you seem clever with soldering and electricity. Count all those NB/BG etc and see if each group adds up to a total of the same diodes (say 6 orange, 5 yellow, 5 red etc). If you find each group is the same amount it could be reasonable to assume they are in a string together. So if you can figure out voltage of an equivalent diode from another string you could maybe judt find a diode with same voltage, they look like 3 watters and solder it on. But it would be such a PITA id just start shopping for a new one and run this one while till it fails completly.
And avoid pink lights which arent Chilled Growlight brand

MM1, sorry to hear you're having troubles. Mirrors my experience with my original Chinese fixtures. After the third board failure, I decided that the only viable parts were the frame and power supplies. Fortunately for me, the drivers paired well with some B-lux Vesta strips. Cost me about $50 and an afternoons work for approx. 50% more light from the same power used.

How has your yield been with the bestva 2000? General consensus seems to be that they are lower quality but I haven't seen any actual results discussed. Thanks.

yield matches 400watt hps or 315 CMH will veg a decent 4x4 and flower a 3x4 I really can't complain about the led light fixture at all it has been run side by side with many other cheap amazon Led light fixtures and also compared side by side with some of the top of the line new technology led light fixtures all leaving me with basically the same product which no one yet can tell the difference between not even me .... I believe this bestva elite 2000watt is a decent led light fixture which is now easily fixed since amazon carries all the diodes one thing I don't like is BEstvas customer service they are useless and honestly they dont care about issues with their lights at all ...
