I'm getting tired of my air stones that's all I have been using stones for 3 years now, they are always getting clogged to quick. Tired of cleaning them and buying new ones, was thinking about doing air diffuser, has anyone done both and which one is better?

I heard totes are better, currently growing in 5 gal buckets
i preferred totes just for the extra volume of water which means more stable pH. and less res changes.

are you happy with the 6 individual buckets?

if i were you, i'd think about getting 3 27 gal totes (2 plants per tote) and assuming 3 would fit in your tent. and then 1 27 gal tote as a control res outside the tent and switching your setup to RDWC by connecting everything.

They goth have some good. If you're not able to be with the plants every day this is the way. If you can be I like the single buckets as the plants will drink up most of the solution before they're any ph swings and then you can have a second bucket bottom on standby cleaned with hot water and soap that you can just fill up with new solution and swap the top.

The singles are more labor intensive however its a much cleaner run imo but you really cant go wrong either way.

Waterfalls will work probably be a better option for RDWC. Air stones are cheap could just replace.

An airstones is a diffuser so not sure what you mean? Are you talking about emitters? If so don't use them not a good option IMO
