Quart jars. Checking the rH on the largest and smallest one - they feel ready to cure.
The little one is on its side, a little bigger than it looks. I had to rotate one of the nugs around to get the big one to fit in a wide-mouth jar. :weed:

If they are ready to go in the C-vault (close to 62%, max about 65% - I trust Boveda, but not that much ;) ) I'll get a bud-by-bud weight pic.
I would do it for my records anyway (check them again after the cure) so I might as well share. IMG_9422.JPG

That height is all about flipping it as soon as the manifold is set - not letting it stretch except what happens after you flip.
I believe it was about 14 " tall when flipped , guess I better make that a little sooner . never expected it to stretch that much tho

Check the web for info on your strain. In general, the more sativa the more stretch. Weaker lights make it stretch too.
On Leafly they have this chart for most strains. The stretch part is how much you can expect it gain I height after you flip.

So my BB will at least triple in size after the flip But the NL (Indica) will be less than twice the height.
NL1.JPG
100% means it will grow another 100% of the height. If it's 12" when you flip, you should get a 24" plant when she stops stretching and starts stacking.

Finally enough stem above my keeper 4 shoots to get drastic and get them some light.

Another reason I take pics. The Skywalker has a support to each corner (two on the main trunk)
The Banner didn't need it - and now the pot is deformed... Getting them now.

I'm also going to "pre-top" them. Before I waited, then snipped shoots past the final top point, but I had to let them grow enough first.
This tome, it will eventually be topped at the red line, but for now I'll cut at the purple one so I still have those leaves to hook onto.

Any of you OCD freaks like me will love this... Harvests to date with the HLG lights. I count everything before that as practice :)
HLG grows.JPG
The yellow ones were early harvest for issues - you can see what that extra week does...
The "%" is the percentage of weight retained from wet trim to cure.
The light green is the recent harvest. I'll weigh the flowers each day when I air them out, and when the weight loss stops it gets locked up for a week at a time until cured (but I peek)

I also rearranged the storage. I didn't like the sardine tin so I re-packed my stash to free up my large C-vaults. The biggest ones were gonna get their own tin, but wouldn't fit ;) so the 4 biggest are in the liter, and 2 each in the larges.

I have talked it down because I have had a lot of it, but I love this skunk strain.

Right now with some cured, some almost cured, and some drying - I can tell by smell what stage it is at.
Drying it smells spicy/herbal with a hint of cheese.
Fully dried to not cured it is like fresh parmesan.
Cured, it loses the overpowering cheese smell and gets a fruity smell.
Ground it smells exactly like Juicy-Fruit gum - but different ;)

Weighed the buds again at midnight, the big one went from 15.38 to 15.11, but the others all lost less than .1g, except for 2 that stayed the same and the smallest one that gained .05.

I see the big one getting to about 15 or just a little under, so the final is in the ballpark of a 100g score.

500g wet. 100g dry. Looks like 20% to me...

And this isn't bragging (much) just proving a few theories. No matter how fat you think your buds are, they are still 80% water... unless like the 2 on the chart you have to harvest before they really fatten, then it drops to about 15%.

The manifold part (even though it wasn't really) produced 2 fatties, but 8 near twins that will be between 8g-10g - and I think it was the foxtails that made the difference in the ones closer to 10g.

Would "like" this 10 times if I could. Gorgeous! All sparkely.
Best I've done, and it was all down to it being healthy at the end so I could let the second growth go instead of watching the dying leaves creeping towards the buds. I already effed that up on my 4 contest plants.

Works out good though. I decarb about half my weed. Makes deciding which gets smoked a lot easier :)

OK, one last 'process' pic and I'll quit teasing you until the smoke report :)
This morning I verified which ones were still losing weight, and which weren't. Three are now 'curing'

Usually at this point I have sorted and graded (size density) and have each size start curing on a different date. First time with individual buds, but the process I use is the same.
IMG_9470.JPG
It would usually just have the weight of the contents, and being OCD I usually round it off and work a joint out of it ;) Each Large C-vault comfortably holds an ounce.
So here's how and why I label it. Especially since I am going to have 6-7 separate skunk harvests.
SSK MC5 (monster clone, 5gal) and the chop date I'll keep on there.
I put yesterdays date (when they were done, today just verified) then 3 more weeks of curing before I'll touch it.
At a minimum I'll open it up once a week now (LOL - I still check on stuff that's well cured more often than that just to decide what to smoke next ;) )

Granted, that's not even a month from harvest. I have found that after 3 weeks they have tightened up about all they are going to. I also factor in the fact that I will not be smoking three and a half ounces on that date... (duh). It's going to keep curing.

That's it. Smoke report OOA the 11th.

Happy Sunday!
For anyone over in the competition thread that watches over here, I'm just not watching that conversation thread. A certain someone seems to lurk in the shadows waiting to correct me on something. That is boring as fuck for a grown ass man, and makes me post angry shit - so I fixed it ;)
