Green house and ventilation question

Im thinking about buying this green house but im not sure if this will be enough ventilation. Here are the specs it's made of a 100% waterproofmaterial.Transparent poly material to allow maximum solar performance for plants. Reinforced PE lenomake the cover stronger than normal poly material. Double zippered front door + back door and 5 exhaust vents are designed for cross ventilation.

What do you guys think about this for an outdoor grow in socal?

Looks pretty cool. Do you all have any high winds?

Do you plan to use a solar powered ventilation fan?

I live in socal, sun village that greenhouse would not work for me.It's not tall enough & does not provide enough ventilation. I think DoubleJJ has a link to some greenhouse covers that go over those car ports & have roll up sides with nylon screen to keep the bugs out. they are taller and offer quite a bit more ventilation.

Yeah sometimes we get santa ana winds but that's in late fall. Do you think its enough ventilation as is?
I used to live in SoCal, so allow me to recommend a different route for you if I may.

Building your own greenhouse is not only cheaper, but a way to tailor it to your own needs. If you use plastic sheeting greenhouses without fans, you'll create a hotbox that will kill them in short order. In SoCal, without proper ventilation in the form of fans then that greenhouse can get to 120-130 degrees in 90-95 degree ambient temps.

Instead, build a frame out of 2x4s. Then, grab yourself some 50% shade cloth on Amazon and staple it to the frame. Not only will this be cheaper, but the shade cloth will serve two purposes for your environment. 1) It will help with the intensity of summer and 2) airflow throughout the entire frame instead of a handful of exhaust holes.

If you use plastic sheeting for a greenhouse without a proper source of ventilation then you will be at the mercy of the greenhouse effect. I use plastic sheeting in my greenhouse, but I not only have proper ventilation but an evaporative cooling wall as a passive intake. The only reason I'm not using a shade cloth greenhouse is because of my need to control the smell. Otherwise that's exactly what I'd be doing, because combined with a misting set up it is the cheapest and simplest way to grow outdoors.

This is also strain dependent too. Unless you have a need for the privacy a greenhouse offers, the best results to be had in SoCal outdoors would be to find an Afghani or Sativa that will thrive in that weather and forego the greenhouse entirely.

Does it come with ground Stakes? If not I would definitely buy some. The green house I bought from shelter logics is pretty cool but the coolest part is the ground Stakes! They use the same kind of stakes for mobile homes in Tornado Alley. No wind is lifting up my Greenhouse!

received_289170642022984.jpeg heres my ghetto green house on stilts. Ya i know its not pressure treated wood but i just need it for the summer. Then take ot down in the winter before it gets destroyed. Made it so its heavy as hell and i can just unscrew the plywood for more ventilation. Probably cost about $250 canadian for all the lumber and the green house. Inhave 4 monsters growing in it and it measures 8x12x9' tall now

Alright so i ended up getting the greenhouse but i put two additional 3' by 2' holes covered in mesh to make it a total of 8 vents two on each side. What do you guys think? More vents? Should i put a vent on the roof of the greenhouse?

I think you have too many plants in there. Pair of scissors is all you need if it gets too hot. You'll figure it out as you go! Just make sure you have a thermometer in there that can be read remotely. Cheers!

Thought I'd give y'all an update on the grow. I've made at least 6 more ventilation holes covered with mesh on the sides of the green house and a couple on the ceiling along with some slits I made with a razor blade. The humidity has been fine getting to about 82% at night and dropping to about 43% during the day the only thing I'm worried about now that it heating up is the temperature. The air is moving great now that I've added a bunch of ventilation holes. I'm watering the girls at 5am every morning after work to try and beat the heat which has been working well the girls have shown little sight of heat stress, sometimes it gets 101 in the green house. Anything you guys have to offer advice wise shoot it. All love!
