Thanks. I have been using 1000 HPS for sometime for flowering.
Was looking to see if (cheap) LED was better than T5's for cloning/vegging.
And this is with my own neglect, the ones I like best are going to my larger veg area the rest I have to decide if I want to throw them into flower, top them and let them veg longer then flower them

My 4' T5 units were way cheaper and the cost of lamp/ bulb replacement is something that I can live with. ( edit: Using no exhaust blower and only AC when ambient temps are above 80F (around 27C). Thank you.
Your a older fella, if you know electrical work. There are cheaper ways but it’s a nice amount of setup and building required. I’m just not for it considering the space I need to cover. The only thing can’t cut much corners on is the drivers. You can live by the motto if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I have a 8bulb 4ft and 4 bulb 4ft fixtures that will be collecting dust unless I need more heat in the winter:lol:

Re-read your posts. I thought you were using three 400w HPS in vegging, my bad.
What LED lighting ,(I am unskilled and lazy), is suggested for a 10' x10' veg room? (Will it need a blower or air conditioning?)

Or you could be smart and start using UVB with them

Reptisun 10.0 uvb lamp ( lizard lamp ) puts out uva and uvb .

Better one is Agromax Pure UV ( Sunblaster rig ) .... very powerful lamp .... will burn your fucking skin.

Try a long flouro bulb over the smaller spirals ones.
Any non heat options? Or the floro doesn’t put out a lot of heat

They are T5 and T8 type bulbs that will fit a number of fluorescent fixtures .

They really don’t provide heat but the danger is extended exposure for both you and your plants.

Defoliation and cutting off lower buds works great.

I Grow for quality not quantity. I’d rather pull a few less Oz but all nice tight buds. I don’t care for trim much.
