Adding 315w cmh during week 3 of flower?

So I have never used cmh bulbs before.. I am currently running a 4000 watt HPS grow and I kinda over vegged this time. Some of the plants on the sides of the room are sorta shaded out and does not get good penetration compared to the plants located in center of room.

So a very generous friend of mine sent me 3 315w cmh bulbs, open reflectors and ballasts. I already have 2 of them setup on the sides, between the wall and the HPS hoods, they seem to give a significant more amount of light to the plants. The spectrum is pretty white/blue compared to my hortilux eye super HPS which already kinda have a little more blue spectrum compared to your normal HPS.

Tonight I am gonna add the third 315w CMH once I find the next most shaded area. From my research the bulbs he gave me to use are the best as well, they're Philip's.

A couple questions....

- Will this interfere with my plants? Making them too leafy or mess with there growth where they are used to the HPS?

- Can this possibly increase my yields by much? I have a close friend on icmag and he was the one that originally got my interest sparked into the CMH's. He says that in his experience, the combo of adding the CMH to the HPS would significantly increase my yields, resin, trichs, THC etc... He said that I could get about 200 plus extra grams per each CMH bulb I added to the grow. I am already headed into week 4 of flower soon, so if this is true, is it still possible to increase my yields that much? He claims that they also make the buds much more denser than hps alone. I have grown for 17 years now, I almost always grow super dense buds as it is... Could not see them getting any more denser than they already do, but hey, I'll sure take it!! :blsmoke:

Any help/advice is appreciated!

You will like the CMH lights, they won't hurt unless they are too close to the plants, as with any light. They will help boost yields in your dimmer areas. If an area is already well lit don't add light. Use them where needed most, lower sides perhaps. I have one CMH overhead running in my room A, was a 600 DE for a while and now it's 1000 DE. Plants seems to like it, especially the 1000. I also replaced a SE 600 vertical between rows in room B with a 315 vertical.
