Venting issues w indoor garden

What’s up guys, so here’s the deal;

I moved to a friendlier state and we will be legal as soon as my wife gets her medical card for her fibromyalgia. The only place we have made available to us is a townhouse so we share a wall with the neighbor.

In the mean time I am trying to get things set up legit. My issue I have is that I have two places I can grow.

1) A “finished” garage with no insulation in the walls, but I could put small hole at the top inbetween studs and blow it in, which would be better than nothing.

It also has a little wall heater but no ac.

Also the only way to vent would be directly out toward the street through a hole/grate made somehow in the exterior garage door. Once again right next to the neighbors garage. There is no attic access but I can see a gable vent above the entryway (directly next to the garage) so I’m debating knocking a whole in the ceiling and taking a look see. Just a lot of work if it’s for nothing. And even then it would vent towards the street above the front door.

Other than that I Maybe cant vent, and also since I share that wall the the neighbors it would be hard to install a aircon of any kind...

2) I have a shed in the back yard but it has no power, insulation, ac, heat, needs a few rotten boards replaced, and the door just fell off last time I went to lock it up... so it would take a little more work but venting would be easier... also it’s a nice big backyard

Ive never lived anywhere without any kind of attic before, hopefully all that makes sense.

Any one have any ideas?

I have a 4x4 tent set up right now with 9 clones (gifted from my boss), but I’d really like to get my whole shindig off and popping... Just need to figure out the venting situation...

I wouldn't cut holes in the garage door. Some fucker did that crap to the house I am in a few tenants before me.

Where to vent is entirely up to you, without pictures we can help much, even with them it's gonna be up to you to find the best place to make a hole in the house and put in a wall vent.

One can always go with a ductless minisplit and really kick some ass with a CO2 generator.

Sorry bro! I missed that part about the 4x4 tent, I was thinking the whole garage lol. Minisplit is overkill for a tent.

And you can vent the smell anywhere u wanna send it brother! Maybe if your not intending to have a CHITLOADS of company passively vent into a kitchen area....if you have less than 5 plants I wouldn't be too too worried with a decent inline fan blowing into one of these

Or do you have a super essential oil freak like my wife in your life!? If so have them utilize a lavender, I've had good luck with stinky cultivars using essential oils

Good ideas. I want to turn the garage out completely as time goes. I have all the equipment to do it. I may go the mini split route if I can, just running the lines will be a task.

The 4x4 is for the first harvest until I have it figured out.

Exactly as I have it set up now, have 7 going into flower and 20+ seeds. Will set up a 3x3 veg tent on the side and get a second filter.

My wife likes to smoke “essential oil” lmao

Yeah me too. 10 years at it and still have things to learn! It’s an addicting hobby and job.

You guys got gavitas up there in the warehouse!? Look at the distance between canopy and bulb! My gosh! Either that or dbl Enders !? I notice the lighting is yellowish in color, so not cmh.........lots of mouths to feed right there, but I could swing that for a season or two. I'm one of those guys that can't sit still

Hand water every damn one. Two rooms like that. We have to keep that kind of distance because heat builds up fast and the state won’t let us vent outside. We have 8 or so slit AC systems running 24/7 in each room.

I rock all COB lighting at home to combat that. Plus my home flowers come out a little nicer lol

I would frame up a small sealed room. Fuck the venting IMO. Sealed room, adequate cooling/heating/rh, supplement co2. Total control. I run ductless mini splits by pioneer. If the installation is out of reach, buy yourself a solid rolling ac unit. If you run LED’s like me, you’ll need heating as well if you’re in a cold environment.

If you seal your room proper, your co2 tank will last a while. I have twin flower rooms 7’6 x11’. 4x8 living soil bed on casters in each. The soil offgasses co2 so my co2 tanks barely kick on hahaha.
