When did Craigslist ban "cannabis" ads?

I have never bought any cannabis products off Craigslist, but I did use the site to see what was being sold and what prices were being asked. It was a decent way to keep up with the available clone strains in my part of California. But when I went to CL a couple days ago, there were absolutely zero ads that came up when I searched for "cannabis" or even "420."

I can't find any news articles that directly explain the apparent change in CL ad policy, but I think I know the reason: opiate dealers were using CL to advertise their oxy and fentanyl.

Everyones been forced or decided to drop the sale of legal product that potentiate illegal activities.

Low life "buyers" shooting sellers in cross state hook ups..... Craig's was the meeting point. Police "enticed" Craig's to stop...
Now legal in a state?.....Here in ours - same rule applies! NO cannabis related posts. Growing equipment is ok.

We had a guy here who responded to a CL ad for a dirtbike for sale. He called the ad and offered to trade a pound for the dirtbike. The ad was placed by the son of our Sheriff. Oooooops! LOL

It's the search feature, they have a blacklist. The ads should still be there. I ran into it searching for 'hemp' and getting no results when I knew there was dozens of ads using the word hemp.

In Oregon you can still search SELF CENSORED to find stuff. but I don't know how long that will last...

I noticed the same thing about 2-3 weeks ago..from canada. 420 or cannabis came back with nothing. Even 420 used to return items that cost 420$, but now not even that.

I forgot about the robbery angle, but yeah, that comes up in the news frequently. People selling cell phones or guns get jacked several times a week, based on what I've been reading in the crime reports.
