Happy New Year - I'm keeping an eye on your Wedding Cake since I have some seeds on the way. Also, the stakes that hold your tubing, where did you get those? And is even watering ever a concern with just the one tube?
Very efficient watering system. I got the stakes at ace hardware, the 1/2" poly vinyl line at home depot, 400 gph pump from Amazon. Get a timer that you can program by the seconds. I have 2 air stones in a 27 gallon tote and a 80 gph pump recirculating the nutrients 24/7. I change out the solution every 7 days

18 days since seedlings have been vegging under the 315w CMH. What a week it has been. On new year's eve I picked up 2 Gelato clones from my source that I got my animal cookies from and stick them in my tent. My source always has clean plants, so he says. 2 days later on Wednesday I noticed one of the leaves on the gelato had spots, I immediately recognized that those spot are from spider mites. I looked under the leaf and smushed a black speck then and sure enough it was a mite. I went and grabbed my digital microscope and saw another mite and some eggs. I cut off the leaf and burnt it. I examined the rest of the clone along with the other and saw nothing else. I phoned up my guy and he was in shock and told me to burn them and he'll give me some new ones, so I did. Later on that night he gave me 8 clones cause he felt bad and told me he doubled dipped them and they're good to go. As soon as I got home I inspected them and they were loaded with mites and eggs. I ended up tossing them out and told him I can't take the chance of a mite problem and told him I'd rather take a loss than have to deal with that. On Thursday I picked up some insecticidal soap and sprayed my plants Friday morning right before the light turned off. By Saturday night all my seedlings started to claw up. Every thing looked good so, I waited for my light to turn off this morning then i sprayed all my plants with RO water to try to wash off the insecticidal soap. I then rechecked my ph in my nutrient solution after recalibrating it and notice my ph was at 6.8, so I adjusted it and watered all the plants. We'll see how they're doing tomorrow. A bunch are already showing signs of recovery. I went down to my local hydro store today and my buddy there hooked me up with 2 Grand daddy purple clones and 2 Wedding Cake clones. So now i have 19 plants going. Getting ready to flip once the plants are out of their funk.
7 - Wedding Cake seedlings
2- Weeding Cake clones
6- Purple Punch seedlings
2- Grand Daddy Purple clones
1- Cheese seedling
1- Blue Gelato 41 seedling

Sorry pics are mixed around from Saturday and Sunday

I'd be so nervous taking cuts from other sources based on stuff like that. Hope they get sorted and things turn around for you.

Yeah I don't like to either, but until I can get a separate clone/veg room going I'm going to stick with the shit load of seeds I have. Just hate waiting those 2-3 weeks from germinating to the point where they need to be to veg properly.

I love doing SOG.
I have a mother room now, which could be a 2x4 tent. Then I use a small area to hold two buckets I turned into aero cloners. These could be boxed easily too.
The biggest inconvenience is the 3 or so days the clones take to root in the larger Rockwool cubes.

Last night I added another water line, pump, and timer to run separate for the 4x4 cubes on top of the uni-slabs since they only need to be watered twice a week. I then doubled up the drip lines on the 6x6 cubes since they are watered daily. Once I was all done with that I flushed all the plants with RO water. Tonight I will be mixing up a nutrient solution. I'll also be flipping to 12/13 here pretty soon

3.5 weeks into veg
Plants are doing better since all the curling happened. Some Wedding Cakes and Purple Punch's were getting taller than the other plants so I topped them last Friday night to keep my canopy some what level, of course I cloned them. Right now my plants are ranging from 7"-10" tall, my ph, ppm, temp, and humidity have all been perfect. I defoilated a little bit yesterday to every plant, I probably do some more tonight. I plan on flipping 12/12 for sure this Friday. I have a feeling I'm going to get some good stretching once I add my other 315w cmh bulb to my hood. I'm a month and a half behind my original schedule, but oh well what are you going to do. Hopefully I have enough of my Animal Cookies from my last grow to last me until this one is finished. At least I saved the money and hassle of buying clones.

Day 2 of flower
Its Friday night and I'm going on day 2 of flower. I added my other 315w CMH bulb to my hood Thursday before I started 12/12 and the ladies are loving it. My RT is at 80°F, RH is at 54%, and pH is at 6. I'll be rearranging and defoilating the plants tonight, they grew a lot in the last few days.
Nutrients used for the 1st week of Flower per gallon:

GH Floranova Grow 4ml
GH Floranova Bloom 4ml
GH Rapid Start 1ml
GH Floralicious plus 1ml
GH Arnor Si 2.5ml
GH Diamond Nector 5ml
GH Calimagic 5ml
GH Florablend 5ml
CE Sugaree 5ml

Rearranged and defoilated. I feel like I went crazy, but I had a lot of leaves that were growing funky due to when I sprayed them with that insecticidal soap, so I cut them off.

Hey I'm starting my 630w Flood n drain Rockwool SOG this month! Definitely gonna keep up with you!
Lucky bastard i can't get ahold of purple punch at all. I almost ordered a 10 pack of Ice cream cake (gelato x wedding cake) but I read there was like 75% Herm AND mutant rate, and I don't have the time or money to weed through that bs.

Welcome! Are you also doing a grow journal?

Going to pull up a chair if that's ok.
I just transplanted 24 Big Buddha Cheese clones and starting a two to three week veg before I flip.
Is this you first SOG? I am very new to this style of growing.
If you get a chance check out my journal in my Signature.

Welcome to my grow journal! This is my 3rd overall SOG. I've been growing since 2005 but took an 8 year break starting back in 2010 and started back up last year. My grow before this one was a SOG and I documented everything on my other grow journal thread, same title but without the part 2 in it. I've done grows with 6, 10, 12, 16, 20, and 99 plant counts, and I've tried all ways to grow, but I always go back to growing with rockwool. I'm not sure your size table or grow area, but with 24 in a SOG I would only veg them until there about 8-12" tall then flip to 12/12, they'll keep stretching the following weeks. If you have any more questions I'll try my best to give you the best advice I can. I'll checkout your journal here in a bit. Happy growing :bigjoint:

Sweet sweet. I got a 315 sun system and a 630w emperor I just picked up. Got the 630 going. How's humidity and temperature in your grow? My sun system out out nearly nothing at all before but I find this emperor runs pretty warmly. How's the sunstream working?

When the lights are on my temps have been around 77°F +/- and humidity has been 50%. I've been running my dehumidifier in my garage when the humidity gets over 60%. I don't have any complaints about the sunstream, this is my 2nd run with it.

Not bad at all. My garden is picking right up with the 630w now. Can't wait to see how it goes! What strains again?
