I can tell u one thing. Once soils ph gets way off it can take weeks to get it back up! I'm flowering some plants right now in that same jacked up soil. Starting their 4th wk and just now looking healthy after feeding at a ph of 7.5 then 7, and now down to 6.4 as of last night.

3 grams hydro, 2 grams cal-nit, 1 gram epsom "per gallon but you never use it that concentrated" so mix until you get over your desired ppm then dilute it. in a 5 gallon bucket I usually run 6 grams hydro,4 grams cal-nit and 2 grams epsom, then check ppms, then add more or dilute to your ppm.

So had gh micro in my cart for no more than a month, went from $28 and change to 34 bucks in that time so I just bought Jacks classic Bloom booster 10-30-20 for $10..!

Problem is I've got almost full gallons of the other two parts of GH Flora Trio so at some point I suspect (and hope) the price will cycle down somewhat?, but for now screw that overpriced stuff

I'm going to be at my hydro store Saturday I'll see what they're getting for a gallon of micro but it will be my last cuz I'm switching completely over to powder nutrients soon, I've used Jacks before it's great stuff I love it on my tomatoes too

Speaking of tomatoes I'm guessing I should get the 20-20-20 for veg but I've also used Jacks (peters) Tomato mix on cannabis too, so..

TL'DR --> any recommendations on which Jacks product is best for vegetative cannabis growth?

Are all of you guys using reverse osmosis water? I'm using tap water that comes out @ 160 TDS and 7.0 PH. I want to order some Jack's, but I'm not sure if I should order the 1 part Tap formula or the 2 part with cal nit and magnesium sulfate. I have emailed their customer support twice with no response.

I really want to pull the trigger on a 25LB bag and the 1 part Tap sounds very appealing, but if the Part a + cal nit & mag sulfate (321) is the better option then I will do that. I so far haven't seen anybody using the Tap formula. I've been using GH 3 part + floralicous plus and would like to make the switch to a more professional product in dry salt form.

Thanks :)

My girls thank you in advance!

That Tap formula does not look balanced for cannabis. No Sulfur and really low on Mg and Ca. I use the 321 system exclusively and love it. Some random poster said "get a box and put all of your overpriced water nutrients and additives in it, then write 'Expensive Lesson' on it and throw it out.
Thanks for the info. I'll be doing 321 on my next grow.

I prefer Amazon when it comes to Jacks. Their shipping is discreet as long as the item is Prime eligible, meaning Amazon ships it to you, not a 3rd party. The Cal-Nit I use is $10 for 2lbs, 5buckethydro brand. I also use fulvic acid at .40 grams per gallon sourced from customhydronutrients, and yes they have discreet shipping.

I currently grow ebb & flow style on a flood table. Flood every 3 hours. I primarily use hydroton but I've used coco a lot too in the past. When it comes to the Jacks 321 formula I've found that 3.6 | 2.4 | 1.2 gives me the best results from start to finish. I start with clean RO water, about 10 PPM's, but I like to add about 10% tap water into my res to help buffer.

I've found that when I'd dilute the PPM's down to say the 600's, that there wouldn't be enough calcium available in the water. Since I've bumped the PPM's to around 1000 to 1100 the plants have responded well. This includes seedlings, veg, and flower.

Here's a shot of the flower tent today. The grapefruit is a bit pissed off because I leaf stripped her a few days ago.

The important thing is to remember 321 is the ratio; Peters calls it out full strength 3.7g/2.4g/1.1g per gallon. I start out with my seedlings at 0.9g/0.6g/0.3g and then fairly quickly move to 1.8g/1.2g/0.6g or 50% for mid-veg. Late veg to beginning flower I go 2.1g/1.4g/0.7g and move up from there. It is quite easy to get burned tips and N tox if you don't read your plants; my last run and most likely this one I never went above 2.4g/1.6g/0.8g in deep flower before dropping off towards harvest.

I mix the Part A and MgSO4 together in a cup of hot water and the same with the Part B then add to my pitcher of water. I grow in soil (Roots Organic Green Lite which is coco based) and add literally nothing else.
