Does everyone follow the GreenLeaf's recommended feeding schedule? It seems a bit high to me but I'll figure out here soon once I move my veg plants to flower. Also I made the switch recently right in the middle of my veg cycle and I'm glad I did. Anyone questioning should just get a small bag to try it out maybe on some veg plants like I did. Saving money for sure. Been using House and Garden aqua flakes for a base and MC is holding it's own over them so far
I’m quite a bit under at 3.5g per gallon in the 3rd week of flower. I just figured that it was my background of 280ppm forcing me to keep the feed low. It’s insane how little of this stuff it takes to create an absolute monster of a plant.

I use hydrocorn or clay pellets as some call them. Totally reusable to almost infinity and no waste except root mass, unlike other hydro only mediums.

It's okay. Seems to work ok, although I question if it works better than the Rockwool I was using. I think it has much less nutrient buffer space than other soil-less alternatives. But it has no waste. I used to throw 6 contractor garbage bags of Rockwool out every grow. Now I just throw the roots in the garden, 0 waste.

I'm gonna use up my version 1 stuff on veg now and start version 2 in flower today. Everything is going very well. Version 1 is working perfectly for me in veg so might as well use it in there. Use the new stuff for flower quicker this way.
My life and work load has gotten much easier in a way. Trimming might be more work though.

I have heard that some people use jack's nutrients. Just wondering how it compares to MC?

I ask because you can buy an 11kg bag of jack's 20-20-20 for $80 which is cheaper than the Canadian MC price.

Hey @CalyxCrusher , how's the whispy BD coming?

BTW, if you have a calcium deficiency it can delay flowering and calyx crushing development. lol. i found I had to add some under the LEDs. Things are big and hard donky dick scenarios now.
They're looking a bit better, but im willing to bet a need for extra cal mag is the issue. No signs of deficiency, but I haven't really pushed them since ive been feeding them the same as my Gorilla Glue. Next time ill have to monocrop it and dial it in. Popped some C99 which ive had good success with before so Im curious to see how it does on Mega Crop. Also going to switch from hand watering to drip feed so hopefully I don't fuck things up terribly, lol

I had it in flower. Too late to correct it fully at that time, but it didn't get too bad. Live and learn, I didn't realize my source water PPM dropped so much in winter.
Not a big deal, add like 1/4 the recommended amount of CalMag. I also noticed the plants directly under and closest to the high intensity LEDs were the only ones that showed the deficiency.
