It seems like NY and Jersey are in a race to see which will legalize 1st

Lot's of Bills in the Texas legislature this year, just dunno if any of them will pass. Looks like a good shot though...

It would be huge if legalization hit TX or another red southern state

I’d do somersaults if Minnesota finally showed their true colors and legalized it...but that’s not likely, even with Walz.

What I really hope happens is that cannabis is either removed or rescheduled from the CSA. Until the feds do this med patients will still be unable to access adjunctive care(pain meds).
I live in Georgia(almost as Red as Alabama) and I will continue to fly under the radar...although it would be nice to legally be prescribed pain meds.

GOP is in the minority, Dems have the votes to back Cuomo, and the state is desperate to increase tax revenues. Done deal, just a matter of time. I think April is a good guess.

Yup, the Dems in the house have always wanted to push legalization forward in NY. They didn't because the GOP used to run the senate/would just down vote the bill.

Yes thats true,Governor Andrew Cuomo was once opposed to the idea of legalizing marijuana, he changed his tune in 2018.
In December, Cuomo announced that marijuana legalization would be a high priority in 2019.

Well you can check IL of the list...it's done for recreational baby....come January 1st 2020...I'll just keep not smoking until then

That would be some great news.

More and more states/countries/territories everywhere will be legalizing it in the coming 3 to 5 years...you can't stop a green tsunami lol...these are the times we live in (fortunately).
