Im sure there are a lot of people out there that know a lot about this. Fed trumps state I know, but its like we are in the duplicitous wild west. Im in the first state to ban slavery and legalize through legislature.
I perplexes me we live in this situation is there anyone else who is like what the fuck?

It doesn't matter much for customers that it is against federal law. Only the feds would enforce federal law.

Actually under the constitution the state trumps the fed's just in 'reality' its not practiced that way. Thats part of the reason why most states have the right to succeed from the rest of the USA, each state is technically its own country.

I just got back from Arizona and there were a lot of federal agents there, border patrol etc. Yes they did that with the constitution to protect states sovereignty. But if a federal agent is present cant they just supercede the state, police, etc?
And the feds are collecting taxes off of what they call illegal businesses. It will change soon.

Theoretically a federal agent could arrest you, but he would have to charge you with a federal crime (crossing state lines and such). Simple possession wouldn't be enough for him to book you into the county jail since local jurisdiction allows you legally possess cannabis (to a certain amount - up to 2 ounces in my state)

I was actually on the border (close) when three agents came out of the bushes with suitcases full of drugs, I assume herb. But they would have arrested them because its illegal under federal law. I thought since I had some herb they could get me too, just legally. Its so fuckign duplicitus, maybe thats why its that way. They can take advantage, tax code 208 and tax a dispensary arbitrarily. We really want a situation where people aren't used to breaking the law all the time. r being put in a situation (as it is now) where we are forced to brake the law, or tricked I guess.

possessing marijuana is a federal crime. all they'd have to do is take you in front of a magistrate, not a circuit court judge. and local authorities have a long history of cooperating with federal authorities....they know what side of the bread the butter goes on.
i wouldn't (and don't) rely upon the kindness of the government. the old rules still apply as much as possible, mind your own business and stfu
