An excellent talk Jeff Lowenfels put on for Verde Natural. Its long and the video quality isnt all that great, but Mr Lowenfels is entertaining as always. Plus its chock full of great info on growing organically and naturally. Enjoy!

This may be old news to some, but I thought it was pretty ground breaking.... He goes on a really deep dive into Mycorrhiza and he said they have figured out that cannabis only uses one specific Myco. Rhizophagus intraradices (sometimes called Glomus intraradices). That means when we are buying Mycos with all kinds of different species in them, they arent doing anything for our plants unless you have cover crops or something. So if you are growing organic in a pot indoors, YOU ONLY NEED R. intraradices!

Leaving your old roots in place will help build the myco colony. I used to dump the pots and pull the old roots out, but I realize now that I am also pulling the myco colony out with it.

i love that intro... two types of growers: those who care to honor the plant and those who care about getting the most out of the plant for themselves.

Glad you liked it! Just the other day I was looking through your "ShLUbY's Garden" thread and making some notes (especially your SIP setup. I really dig that) so it's cool that I can return the favor. bongsmilie

yeah those aerobic pumice SIPs work fucking great man. for now, i'm back on the blumats just because they fit my lifestyle better at the moment, but when i get back to having more time in my garden, i'll likely be going back to the aerobic SIPS. they just work too well.

Awesome vid, I watched it last week. It’s better that his other ones where the video quality isn’t too good...lol. And it’s a bit repetitive from the his other ones too. None the less great info. I ordered the book he recommended in there too “Life in the soil”. Can’t wait to get it along with the others I ordered. Merry Christmas to me...lol
