Flushing Seeds?

It's flush time for my girls. Can I flush my pollenated girls with my females? (plain PH'd water)

Or do the seeds need nutrients all the way through? (mix a separate batch of water?)

Your seed run should be fed up until the end. You want to let them go long enough to mature too. Pop a few calyx's open and check the seeds when your unthinking they're ready. You don't want to flush buds either, all it accomplishes is robbing the plant of nutrients when it needs it most. You can not flush nutrients out of a plant, only the media it's growing in. Go check out plants that have been flushed. The buds always look fine while the rest of the plant changes color. That is because the mobile nutrients in the plant get moved to the buds while the plant is I'm starvation mode. It does not pull anything out of the buds. Good luck.

You can do it either way and you likely won't tell a difference, assuming the seeds are ready.

Whichever you'd like to put more emphasis on then go that route. If you want flushed smoke, flush, if you want to be absolutely sure the seeds get every bit of whatever they may need then feed. I bet you wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

Thanks guys!

These pollenated plants I pollenated soley for the purpose of seeds. So maybe I'll mix a separate batch of nute water for them then.

I can almost taste the smell of what I put into my medium if I do not flush. If I flush I taste water or a organic-soilish taste. Likewise if it's from somewhere else. Maybe I'm a little wack-a-doodle lol.

If I was actually running organics, then I would not bother flushing.

So I'm guessing neither of you flush?

Just the toilet! It's a topic that's been gone over a thousand times around here, and I shouldn't have made it the focus of my post.

So the idea when making seeds and this goes for almost any kind of seed.... Tomatoes, peppers, mj, etc you want to make sure there's plenty of food for the seeds to form healthy and viable. And you want to make sure you give them enough time to fully mature. In my opinion those are two of the most important things after you pollinate.
