As some of you may know, Presidential campaigns are about to kick off very soon.

With Trump's approval rating amongst voting Republicans hovering around 90%, I do not expect a GOP challenger.

There are many democratic contenders for, but only two so far have declared a run for President. John Delaney from Maryland and Richard Ojeda from West Virginia

Here is my case why people should consider Ojeda and not dismiss him entirely.

Richard Ojeda from West Virginia. He Served for 24 years in the Military, is a Democrat (although he voted for Trump) - He closed the largest gap in all midterm elections, West Virginia is/was a +45% for Trump, and he narrowed the gap to 12% in his Senate run. He could potentially get a lot of Red and Purple states to flip. Did I mention he was behind the bill that got Medical Marijuana passed in WV? My concern is his lack of experience and the belief that he will not be the winner of the Democratic primary. I think he is an interesting candidate and one to watch closely.

Anyways - Poll is for potential Presidential Challengers. Included a couple Libertarians to be fair (although they would never actually challenge) - Vermin Supreme did not make the cut.

Fuck Ojeda. No offense.

Just to put my reply into context, literally not a day goes by without a right-wing sock puppet coming into politics to stir shit up. Some are just retarded Americans, others are professional, but ineffectual, foreigners.

Yet we are aware that the possibility exists that a fairly new user occasionally stumbles in - you may be one of those. If you are, please forgive any gruffness in our replies.

Oh, and Sherrod Brown would look good on a ticket. Ohio is not going to vote Dem without him.

Lastly, fuck Ojeda.

I was initially thought you were calling Ojeda a right wing sock puppet (he might be lol), I now realize you meant in the forum, lol. I did see a few posts from some nutjobs and rest assured I am not one of those.

I find Ojeda interesting from a political landscape perspective (potential ability to close the gap in red/purple states). But he is not my top choice.

I like Joe Biden (don't think he'll run), Kamala Harris too. I have a soft spot for Tulsi Gabbard, but she's too young and inexperienced. I enjoyed watching Beto's TX campaign but I do not think he should run for president.
CO Gov Hickenlooper would be nice, but unfortunately he would have a tough time raising money as his bipartisanship might count against him, should he decide to run.

So many potential candidates, it will be an interesting election for sure.
