What does your timeline look like?
Applied online 9/5/18
Had not heard anything so started trying to call them and emailed them this week. Was told over the phone this morning I was approved yesterday and to expect it in 10-14 business days. If it takes 14 business days it will be 93 days from submitting to having a card in hand.

I would go with it will take 90 days from the time you submitted something to have a card in hand. They are currently working on early September applications based on the info I have gotten today and username IllinoisSucks got yesterday.

Another question: a friend who applied and was approved through The Healing Clinic in Chicago about a month after me said he was told that after Dec. 1st he'd be able to use his paperwork as a 'provisional' card, instead of waiting for the actual hard copy of the card. This is supposedly a provision in the opioid alternative program that goes into effect on that date. This would be great news of course, but because I haven't heard anything else about this, I have my doubts about whether this info is accurate.

Does anyone here have any insight on this?
Dec 1st is the day they have to submit the plan by. Nobody knows until then, although if dispensaries start saying something that would give me more hope. When something is changing they will be the ones who know.

There really isn't any paperwork to get access with. The state should e or snail mail something or have us print out something with a QP #.

Week off. 9-5 to today is 72 days = 86 days if it takes 14. Date calculation in MS calculator is getting a workout.

14 business days.... which with the Thanksgiving holiday and weekends would be december 7th at the latest ,that is if the state is off the Friday after Thanksgiving like every company I have ever worked for is. Your calculation is incorrect!

I will post complete timeline once I have card in hand!

Hello from Chicago,

I signed up through innovative express Sept 13 card charged 24th. Anyone else go through innovative? If so how was the wait time from visit to getting card?

Does anyone know, if when you go to the dispensery, if you need to show your drivers license? Mine expired, and am putting off getting a new once, since now I have to take a test for it haha not sure if all you have to show is your card, cuz I would hate to get there and not be able to buy anything because I was too lazy to get my new license ha
You will not be allowed in without a Valid Gov't issued Picture ID, by Law

Trolling state workers is and slowing down the process inconsiderate to the other people that are still waiting for their cards. I can't imagine they are going to be in a big rush to handle you paperwork if they feel like you are wasting their time. I have already received my card so I have no stake in the game here. All I'm saying is be more considerate of the other people out here that are also trying to manage their symptoms. If you know it's going to slow down the process for everyone that includes you.

They have a Special place for The Apps of People who behave like that, it is called back to the Bottom of the Pile! Good Luck with the Tantrum. Hope it pans out.

Shelby is full of it.. she posted yesterday that she got an email saying she was approved and it would be there in 10-14 days, then magically it appeared in her mailbox today.. I’m not buying it.. I haven’t heard of anyone else being informed of the card being approved by email.. and she also couldn’t say who the email came from.. So.. yea.. I have my doubts.

My card arrived 3 days after Being sent for Printing. I called on A Monday, they said I was approved Friday, and would have in 10 to 14 Business Days. Was I ever shocked to see it 48 hours Later!
