Drying Bud

Just cut down some plants and I have them hanging, been about 3 days now. My temps are 65 to 70. But my humidity has been at about 35%, but has dropped to about 22%. How important is humidity when drying and what tips does anybody have to get my humidity up? Thanks in advance!

low humidity will dry buds too fast, high humidity can cause mold.

it is very important!

ways to get it up, humidifier, wet towel hanging a few feet away, bucket of bubbling water maybe? those are worth giving a shot! I've never had this problem personally so I can't say if those will work, but a humidifier will for sure raise it, damp rid from Lowe's will lower it! for sure!

I know it's important, I've read that. But I read a lot of things about growing and some weren't vital at all. So that's why I asked the community.

Your temps are spot *on. And 35% humidity really isn’t that far off being ideal. When u say has dropped to 22%, is that the average now or is it fluctuating?
I really wouldn’t be that concerned about your numbers but if ur that worried get a spray bottle that sprays a really fine mist and spray around the room. Hang some wet towels on a drying rack in the room.. There’s heaps of diy’s to up humidity just do a quick google search. I couldn’t tell how effective they are tho.
OR
You could just buy a cheap humidifier/vaporiser from eBay or something..

You could always jar them now with a hygrometer and utilize their own moister...bring them out for 10-15 minutes a couple times a day and monitor them as they dry...g/l

Well as long as you can fight the urge to invade the stash :) Cold would be, well cold. for me, that is anything under about 20C
Weed is pretty smokable after about 10 days, but its better qualities take at least a month... in my opinion.

the warm bit is easier, that is 85degrees for 12 hours with dehumidifiers running at full power.

thought it was something like that. we have the opposite problem here. if i dry in the garage its 3C (38F) and 25% humidity . I am going to try and dry in the spare bathroom this year.

Drying is the most important aspect of a grow. It can make or break a harvest.
deff agree with this. Humidity at 35 will make buds crispy while stems stay wet then you have to mess around with jarring and burping. just not fun. 65-70 temps with 45-50 humidity always gave me awesome buds that I could leave on drying rack without worrying

Crispy bud is fine, stop acting like it'll turn to a pile of dust if touched.

Fucking hype is what it is, most of you noobs need to lewrn to get crispy bud before jarring :-)
