Glad to have found this thread! Much good info here.

I personally purchased BG C99 beans at the 2016 Emerald Cup from Soul himself. Ironically he had Duke Diamond hanging out in the booth with him that day. Having read @whytewidow 's two cents, it would only make sense that Soul hit Duke Diamond for whatever Cinderella 99 remnants he had which is likely where Soul got the parts for his current gene pool. Rhetoric of course, but that he was on a quest for original Cindy speaks volumes.

The pack that I bought didn't move. I remember being excited as Hell when I got them but I ended up sending them to @Loran to see what he could do with them and I never heard back on the results. Loran would know the difference in that he too has had the first C99.

The previous year at the 2015 Emerald Cup I purchased C99 F4's from the now defunct Greenman seeds. The beans themselves weren't in the best of shape and having seen a few of Greenman's videos it didn't appear to me that he had the kind of growing environment that would keep things isolated and clean. Those seeds were passed on as well.
