@Stephenj37826 would you be able to give me some advise on the QB11 Quantum Boards. I want to know how many pairs of QB11 Deep Reds would be required when used with 400Watts of QB 3000k? to boost the spectrum and be useful and off course which driver?.

Hi QB thread I hope you dont mind me copy pasting this here.
I could really use some help with my build. I have never done anything like this and it's all new to me.
My parts are :
QB288 V1 x8
Slate 2 Double Heatsink x4
HLG 600h b x2
So I have done a ton of research including watching YouTube videos, and lurking on a bunch of threads on multiple forums. I guess im just nervous about actually building it. I have a 4x8 tent and want to mount the drivers outside the tent, I was wondering exactly how I could go about this. My current thought would be to buy 14 or 16 awg wire and use wagos to connect them them to the drivers 2 output wires, and as those wires have 2 conducters I would need to buy -2 wire right? Would I lose a lot of power by running extra wire 10-15 feet? Also would I need any tools for this build besides the wire strippers, multimeter, wagos, and screwdriver I already have? Instructions on how to do this with wagos would be highly appreciated.
Thanks for anyhelp.

Did remote mount ... on a simple wood plate . It rest on a corner of tent and is connected with quick disconnect ends to rig. QB power wires have the opposite quick plug . I only added a foot or two and reduce any problems with excessive wire lengths.

I did the same to the dimmer side of the wires . WAGOS are fine to do this way.

Which makes it hella easy to upgrade driver by disconnecting easily.

Unless you live in a really hot climate you might want the heat the driver gives off in the tent

Clone taking time .... PEYOTE BLUE

Decided to take a cutting or two before do final LST and (minor defol ) / small growth before flip tomorrow. LST has already been used but am pulling them a little bit more as most have began to slack.

There’s a couple of spots I can take a cutting or two and have by stuff ready.
I am doing a little different way and putting the rooter plug into a hempy like container and also a similar size SIP container. I have so much perlite that it was a given to try it.

Simple zip bag dome and we are off !

Since I have my quantums running a 18/6 ... I will place these in the outer FRINGE area of footprint as not to overwhelm them. Once I see a taproot or two I will Foliar either OPTIC OVERDRIVE or Thrive Alive Red. The micro Rez at bottom of container has a PH of 5.8 and within 2 inches of bottom of plug .

The Wookie Wonder will be next .

I did a mix of LST and simple branch flexing ( bounce ) to “position “ them .
And some leaf tuck.

Very nice! But i thought that type of heatsink was good for 100w?
I guess parmap, hanging height etc will be forthcoming. Kudos for trying new brands and diodes and starting to play with spectrum.
