did u can those with out pressure?if so good way to get sick, all veggies unless pickled need to be cooked under pressure rule#1 in canning.only veg u don't need pressure is tomato because they r acidic enough

No pressure but they were pickled

Did some pickles. I had another jar but it didn't make it through the water canning process.

Three quarts of tomato sauce, 7 pints of pickles, eight quarts of pickles, four pints of green beans.

The wife did pickled okra last week. I don't have a picture, but they turned out pretty good.

I had a bunch of green tomatoes this year so I Googled what I could do with them. I decided on Nova Scotian Chow Chow. I never had it before,never heard of it before. I just had all the ingredients on hand. It tastes like a sweet relish

Sauerkraut is another super easy thing to can. There are tons of recipes out there but basically it cabbage, salt and water. And then left to ferment.

How did you do the asparagus? I love it pickled and it is a pricy item.

Reminds me of childhood that stuff. 5 pickles on the table at every meal....the newfie way

I want to try pickled watermelon. I saw it on some cooking show. It's the white part from the rind pickled.
