Sauerkraut is another super easy thing to can. There are tons of recipes out there but basically it cabbage, salt and water. And then left to ferment.

I had a bunch of green tomatoes this year so I Googled what I could do with them. I decided on Nova Scotian Chow Chow. I never had it before,never heard of it before. I just had all the ingredients on hand. It tastes like a sweet relish
Reminds me of childhood that stuff. :) 5 pickles on the table at every meal....the newfie way
