Creating a DIY craftable category/thread

I have been thinking that a DIY craftable thread should be made, as of recent I have made some DIY joint bubblers just to see what the outcome would be.It was satisfactory leaving me wondering whether it would help anyone else who is interested in such projects or just for interests sake.
If there is already a thread that is suitable for such posts and I have just not seen it I apologize.
