47 days in flower trichs look almost ready, opinion needed

Hello all,
I have 6 plants that are 47 days into flower. The top colas are pretty big and their trichomes looks almost cloudy. What do you guys think after how many days more should I chop her down? It is supposed to be 8-9 week strain. Looks like they are going to finish sooner. All opinions are greatly appreciated.

Hello Bud!! From all the info I have read it looks like they need some more time. I think you need to let the trichs age awhile longer. They are cloudy but you should let them amber up some. Don't chop it to early you might not like the end result. Nice job Mate!!

No I haven’t flushed them yet. Since i use all organic and no salt fertilizer, I was thinking I would flush them on the last three days. You think that would be enough?

Hey thanks man. I will wait a few days and then snap some pictures again and check it out. I will go from there.

Pretty much ready maybe give it another couple days if you want to or chop now

This is a great answer. Only thing I have to add is make sure lights have been off for several hours. Maybe turn the lights off now and chop when the moon is large in the sky.

Do you mean chop her during lights out? I was thinking about that as well. I was thinking about saturday morning before lights go on.

In Ed Rosenthals Harvest book he says the perfect time to chop down is when the trichomes start to turn cloudy. That is when you have the most THC content.

Quick update in yield.
I had 14.5 oz of dried primo buds from my 2X4X4 grow box. All the plants gave some extremely potent herb. Super happy

Thanks Mike. Aiming higher in my current grow. But I might not hit even 14 oz this time because i only have 4 plants. On top of that one of them is in 1 gallon pot. But “knock on wood” hoping for a decent yield.
