Landraces

I've grown the ace seeds Malawi, I've got the Panama on veg and I have a cutting of the most potent phenotype of chitral from 48 seeds. It's not a knockout-strong smoke, and tolerance buildup is faster than some strains, but it is beautiful, and has a dark berry smell in flower. My phenotype has lower yield, but I'm growing TGA-plushberry and AoS to breed into the pink/purp mom.

Looking for the purest landrace regular seeds for some breeding, having trouble with all the different companies. Does anyone have experience with land races from Holy smoke, ch9, world of seeds, ace, cannibiogen, sensi, seedsman? prices and descriptions variety so much cant decide. all input is welcome:weed:
Hi.
Word of Seeds only have líes & legends written over their strains catalogue; not real landraces, Im afraid.

Personaly, I love the hard work done with landraces by Cannabiogen, Tropical Seeds Company or U.S.C.
Other growers arround me likes The Real Seeds Company, A.C.E or Original Delicatessen, too.
Im afraid that other Seeds Banks with an intereting work with landraces like Afropips or African Seeds are closed time ago...

I've never found a true representation from a seedbank.. fast flowering landrace sativa? you mean something that has been worked and bred to do so? And lost its best characteristics in the process.
Excuse me, please, but I think you never have been able to smoke a "wild" landrace strain, n be able to compare it with the same landrace strain worked till a line close to a "heirloom" by a good breedding work...
But the best comes when you cross two diferents ( it can be a pure sativa, or a pure indica cross) of these "well" worked landraces strains línes, in my opinión.

World of Seeds (looks like) the kings of Landraces -
World of Seeds only tries to confuse the costumer, triying to look like another great and famouses old school Seeds Banks like CannaBioGen, A.C.E. or Tropical Seeds.

Yeah. I have heard to growers arround me that Pakistan Citral Kush isent narcotic (like a Hash Plants or Black Domina); it's more relaxing (inna the Maple Leaf way) than narcotic.
Anyway here Pakistan Citral Kush have it great fame cos it is great to breed with pure Sativas, I think.

They have some stuff I want but unfortunately they don't ship to the United States.
They ship and supply through seedsman. I would only trust them with true landraces to be honest. Maybe seed of Africa but not sure on them even though I grew a strain from Reunion Island of theirs that was very unusual in taste. I use to grow and collect landrace strains and I think you will find that most are not really what they say they are when you do the research. Real seed company was 100% legit from my experience though. I much more prefer hybrids now and never found anything that really excited me like I thought I would find with the final product. Actually a friend of mine grew a Nigerian nightmare seed of mine that really impressed me. The thing was massive. I may look for a highland Ethopian in the future though as that was what lambsbread derived from when it was brought to the Pinnacle in Jamaica during the 50's

Here is a list of the areas of landraces I tried in the past if anyone is interested. Not to say that more don't exist though, these were just ones that I collected and tried in the past. Some countries had many phenos that were described, such as South Africa and Afghan but only listed as one. Some are probably so similar you wouldn't know the difference such as Uzibekistan and Mazar-i-Sharif.

Morroco
Kenya
Egypt
Nigeria
Zimbabwe
Reunion Island
Zambia
Mozambique
Malawi
South Africa
Lesotho
Brazil
Guatamala
Columbia
Mexico
Thailand
Cambodia
Laos
Uzibekistan
Afghanistan
Pakistan
Nepal
China
India
Lebanon

Does seedsman or Hipersemillas ship to USA I think they got real seed company gear too hope it helps
Why yes Seedsman does carry them. I just looked and they have some landraces I'm going to get for the vault and future breeding projects. Thanks for the heads up. I've bought seeds from Seedsman before but didn't think to check if they carried The Real Seed Company genetics.

My goal is to collect as many landrace strains as possible. Cultivate them and make and collect seed that I will share with others in the future.

bongsmilie Puffing on some of the last of my Panama right now. Fortunately I have a bunch of my Panama + PCK cross I made. The shit is pure fire. Can't wait to smoke some Oldtimers Haze in a couple of months.

While most are chasing the latest fruity tootie pebbles I'm trying to accumulate as many landrace varieties that I can. It won't be long before people realize that these modern hybrids are no better than the original landraces and make a move back. I'll have those genetics when you won't be able to get them. And I'll share with those that want to continue growing those genetics and continuing the lineage.

Agreed
Well there wont be much of a future unless people stash beans and keep growing out the lines too as we know so many landraces are dying/or extinct at their point of origin just good to see people interested in keeping the essential building blocks of all canna alive
