How to grow magic mushrooms

Looking for a way to grow them. Doesn’t seem like I can find a place to send me spores or a kit,
I've used mushrooms.com for spore syringes with good results(admittedly only on my third attempt). I haven't used a kit and feel like I've learned more because of it. Search PK tek, or look at the thread up top by Canndo for your first attempt.

You're just wasting money on a kit your paying 3-4 times the money for materials you can pick up at your local Wal-Mart and hardware store. Spores aren't hard to find like deej said try the method pinned to the top of this subforum and try a few different strains, Golden Teacher is a very popular strain and very strong trippy buzz. Once you find a strain you like and have a couple grows under your belt you can try some of the more advanced methods, like trays and monotubs. The first thing you'll need and you will need this for any method is a 23 quart pressure cooker or bigger enough to fit 7 jars in. I'm gonna find you a video if you haven't already seen it you should definitely watch it it's an hr but it goes through everything from start to finish.

There's plenty of reputable spore vendors if you poke around on shroomery.org. I have used little shop of spores many times and always got my order shipped quickly.
Don't buy a "kit." To start off with the PF tek method all you need is a pressure cooker, some 1/2 pint canning jars, brown rice flour, and vermiculite. After the jars are done colonizing you'll need a small clear tote bin, a drill, and some perlite to make a shotgun chamber for fruiting. You can use a single 6500k cfl for lighting with a timer but even that is optional; a room with a sunny window will also work.

Look into wild bird seed tek and bulk. Its real easy as long as you do it right. Your best bet is learning what all the vocab means so when u read a tek u know what they r talking about.

I got my spores from spores 101 but its been a couple years so... pressure cookers can be found cheap at second hand stores by the way. , juat make sure they have the rocker. An air purifyer wouldn't be a bad idea either. For around $100 you can get all the shit you need to do wbs bulk and have enough shit for a bunch of runs. Takes about a month and a half from start to finish in ideal conditions.

I'm not a fan of birdseed for new growers. It's actually what I use now but you have to pick the right brand because all the mixed grains absorb different amounts of water during the soak... some will rupture and be sticky and some will not fully hydrate if you have a brand with a seed mix that isn't ideal for mush cult. That's why I dissuade people from using wild bird seed (wbs). Starting out I suggest using a single grain. Whole oats are super simple and very forgiving with the boil time. Full boil for 20 minutes then drain usually works... worth looking into at least.

mushrooms dot com and sporeworks have always been my go-to vendors for spores. Avoid Ralphster, if the fact that he's selling alleged artwork by Charles Manson that was smuggled out of prison in someone's ass on his website isn't enough to tell you that already. He used to be rock solid so you still see good reviews but... check the date of the review.
