@growingforfun hey, quick question and sorry to hijak the thread for a second:

have you done same strain in dirt vs hydro? if so, explain what differences were if any: taste, potency, smell etc.

Ive been using 1/2" OD rubber washers from the plumbing section to make that connection myself. I believe they are 0 size.
Just run a drill bit through he middle if the hole is too small for the tubing your using
It seals perfectly as the tubing is expanding under pressure
cool, thanks. and you are in waterfarms too? i have to hit up ACE tomorrow anyway.

I'd also go so far as to say the exact same clone in differant growers hands comes out totally differant. Every time I change brands of nutrients I can tell the differance. 600 watt hps vs 1000 watt hps. MH vs HPS. Burple.
Indoor or under the sun.
Every little change has a affect.
Those changes may be minor, or major.

And something you've been thrilled on in the past may be able to get better, or take a shit. That's what I love about growing.

They say pot isent addicting but growing it is. I agree

I have went back to 5 gallon buckets with the RootSpa concept from the bottom and a drip ring over the top with a small pump recirculating the nutrient from a main res.
I tried 10 gal etc but the amount of nutrient to dump is just excessive and I like weekly refreshes :hump:

He never said it was DWC. But it certainly IS HYDROPONIC. And that's a BEAUTIFUL PLANT and a good example of what GH FloraTrio can do.
With the big jug of Canna sitting next to the tray in the one shot?
Give it a rest dude, there's more to life than gh trio and qb's :peace:

is everyone super sensitive to sound or are you guys all buying the wrong pumps??
I have 2 of these air pumps in my tent. With the output lines on them, they are quieter than my filter fan thats got insulated ducting on it. With an intake line on it, I can barely hear it.

I don't care about sound, I'm in a legal spot and my grow isn't in my bedroom.
Check the wattage consumption vs output on that style pump and also the fact that the air leaving the pump is hot as fuck.

I have some of those type pumps too

I see, that makes. most of what ive seen against air pumps has been about noise level.
I actually keep them outside the tent and have fairly long leads on them and have not noticed a hot output on them. I have a good chiller anyway.
Guess my main concern was cost vs output to start up.
The pump I linked is 110 lpm and the GH ones are 20 lpm
The GH ones advertise as 320 GPH if you do the conversion, the ones I linked are 1700 GPH.
Id need 12 $65 GH pumps to replace the 2 $70 pumps I use now.

Sounds like your closer to commercial grow op size. I'd be looking at a central Danner Air pump or similar. Like they do the large fish tank rooms.
The GH pumps are expensive but high quality and they tear it up for DWC buckets with 1 outlet per bucket
