You are not directing your anger well IMO.

lol. lumens.....literally are rated based on visual light seen......PAR......specifically caters to photosynthesis and how much of the spectrum is ACTUALLY usable to the plant...... where in any professional documentation have you found them claim Lumens are more relevant than par or ppfd....

Just calm down, I can hit a gpw using almost every lighting out there, including HPS and LEDs.

Kingrow is a micro grower who constantly shittalks larger growers. It's a proven fact it's easier to hit a high ratio in small cabs than it is in rooms.

Well ty for that, the context here is that none of this is serious.
Kingrow is trolling people and people are trolling him back. I strictly use hps, and while in kingrow threads I'll tell him to use a Mars hydro. He knows this. He knows I agree with 90% of what he says.
I'm pretty much just fuckin with him because I'm board an he knows it from back in another thread we were trying to help a guy an I was finally like, fuck it i quit I'm flipping sides burple rocks!

That's how it goes with most short term accounts that talk a ton of shit to loads of people and eventually realize they were wrong.
Pretty easy to just start a new account an pretend it never happened.

When I first bought a that 600 true watt burple I was really pumped, it was when it like came out right around 7-8 years ago and wasn't totally proven to be junk. I def advocated it and regret some of my claims. Thankfully I was told by enough people to give my hps another shot, and by someone, I forget who now, but I'll never forget the words... "when people spend a lot of money on something they have a lot invested in it being as good as they want it to be and may ignore the reality" my next run with hps smashed it. After that I'd use it as supplemental light and believe that's a great use for burple, most of my best buds were actually burple/hps combo grows. Then that light was stolen =*(

I'm def interested in QBs, I figure they will he great, or I'll find a way to make them great as part of a combo or something.

I couldn't agree more. I prefer the cost of production per lb over the gpw more.
Right now my production cost me around $100 per lb. produced. That includes lighting, environmental control and nutrient costs. Everything but my labor.

LED for starts and seedlings, then outside for that high pressure star in the sky (it's on it's own timer, its great).

This year I'm using LED indoors to finish in September, however. Figure sacrificing a little yield is better than losing out in the budrot battle.

I've said 3848856939274 times all lights grow plants, some just it a lot better than others though. Having owned 3 or 4 differant kinds of LEDs I learned first hard that burples are pretty bad on their own, and none of the claims made by the makers hold water.

Why does ever noob in the world think if the light keeps the plant alive its proof it's a good product/investment?
Our standards are much higher than simply "working" we are after whats the best.
Hps is the champ. If must perform better watt for watt (burples dont) or be cheaper
(Burples arnt)

The only LEDs that are strong competition for the throne are the Samsung strips or quantum boards. But they have a LONG way to go as far as cost. And the tech is changing so fast theres very little point investing now when in a year it will be 2x as good.

They work just fine for me and other growers and they are cheaper than hps and constantly beat t5s but different strokes 4 different folks
