An early decision has changed the way Superdelegates would influence party voting; they would no longer vote in the first ballot at the convention.

As expected, established party stalwarts are not fond of the idea, while those trying to see the party become more inclusive are strongly in favor.

it sure did

superdelegates prevented the person with less votes from becoming the nominee

the only time that the person with more votes got screwed by superdelegates was when hillary clinton lost to barack obama

she never complained

bernie tried to subvert the will of we the people using superdelegates. that was how bernie could still win despite getting less votes. that was his only plan for months

i thought that was pathetic and lessened my respect for bernie

Almost all of them had declared AGAINST him before the first primary in an obvious attempt to scuttle his campaign before it ever got started!

Democrats and liberals across the country saw that hamfisted move and it cost the Democrats what turned out to be essential credibility in November.
