The first quarter bump was what 4%? Anything that blows up the budget deficit as much as that corporate handout has and will, should lead to higher overall spending and a short-run bump in the economy.

Shit, any short-term boost will probably be quickly snuffed out by the Federal Reserve, which believes that we’re at full employment and which is gradually raising interest rates to keep the economy from overheating, no?

How much has that tax cut helped you?
