Promix hp and nute burn

I have the slightest bit of nute burn as just the tiniest tips of the leaves indicated after my last feeding which was 900 ppm at 2 weeks into flower using promix hp. What should I do to correct this issue. Should I flush to under 100 ppm's and refees at a lower total ppm or just plain water until it uses the extra nutes. Thanks

900 seems low, what is your water schedule like ? Feed, feed, water? Or always feeding? Pot size, amount of water. Do YOu water till a little run off. Ph, More info please. Usually if it’s just the tip should worry, if it’s all the tips of the blades in the fan leaf than sort of.

I use HP all the time and almost every strain gets the very tips going brown. Even in DWC they did that so it's a fairly normal thing.

If the tips along the edges of the leaves do it and the edges turn up then it's likely overloaded with salts and needs a minor flush to lower the levels.

900 is pretty high so I'd back off now as their feeding slows down a lot after the stretch which should be in a week for you if those are 8-9 week plants.

What type of nutes are you using? Water? Tap or RO? 1ml/L of each of my 3-part gives me about 300ppm and I rarely feed more than 2ml/L every 2nd watering about 4 or 5 days apart when the pots are dry enough.

I think a couple waterings with plain water or a little bit of bud booster will be enough to keep the burn from progressing if it is burn at all.

Thank you...I flushed them back to around 175 ppm run off and then fed them.with 600 ppm and they took that fine. I'm using Flora trio...black dog led light...RO water supps are Kool bloom and calmag and silica..using smart pots pH is around 5.9

I never bother with pH as I use RO water only with pH Perfect nutes. Bit of CalMag, Rhino Skin for silica and Big Bud for my bloom booster.

Something I'm going to do is some testing on on the HP by running some RO water thru some fresh out of the bag and checking the ppm and pH of the runoff. I keep burning my plants even tho I've cut way back on the amount I feed them. This last run I gave them only 1ml/L once they got fairly big and still got bad burning. My really low humidity is a big factor in that but how low do I have to go I wonder.

You def shouldn't have gave them more nutrients after the flush because you have to give them time to recover and now they're going right back to taking in more nutrients . And you won't know how they took everything until a few days and they won't show any signs today . you should've just gave them regular plain pH waterings until you reached about 500ppm because tips burning isn't really a problem it's just your plants saying drop nutrients alittle lower so if you was at 800ppm and tips showing burning then use recipe from previous feeding. But no more nutrients after today and do 2/3 heavy waterings and they should be good

I plain watered twice before flushing and refeeding at 600 so that all happened over the course of about a week

I really like the promix hp and I use a little added vermiculite as well. It seems to be a very consistent medium to grow in so far.

Ive had better results and for me found 6.3 to be the ph sweet spot for promix hp. anything under 6.2 always gave me calcium problems in flower

Thank you for the advice ... thank you actually had to pull one plant before that had pH issues so maybe I need to raise the pH a little. I followed a grow video that kept it at 5.9 but different phenotypes can be picky

I have found many do not account for total nitrogen including the small amounts from Cal Mag etc . Nitrogen is quickly utilized by most plants with overdose showing quickly.
