Got all my ladies in 18gal steel drums. Special Kush is the wider drum and ice is in the tall one.IMG_20180614_095730830.jpgIMG_20180614_144632539.jpg
Decided to let them grow more vertically so I buried them IMG_20180619_094730118.jpg

Been tying these down since the start which is sort of a time consuming task...but I came up with an insanely easy way to do it and I thought I'd share.

No zip ties...string...or scissors needed and no damage to plants if your reasonably careful

All you have to do is drive a stake in the ground and use a clothes line clip around the stake and you can then adjust the height. No damage to leaves...super fast and easy and you can just pop it out whenever you want...no cutting or anything. Happy growing!

Nope not completely. There's about a foot of the barrels above ground with a bunch of holes for air to get to the roots
Should just put in the ground at that point more room for roots. Or cut the bottom off so they can grow down and mix good soil with native soil in the bottom of holes

Yup that's what I wish I would have done now lol. I wanted to make it possible to move everything if I needed too that was the whole idea but now I have that fence around it so I'm less worried about it. I'm going to put some more out...haven't decided on going in a barrel with the bottom cut or straight into soil yet

Got all my ladies in 18gal steel drums. . . . . . . .
Before the pictures loaded, this ^^^ is all I saw, and it brought to mind the classic thread where the dude was growing in a big trash can. A big, upside down trash can. He had drilled holes in it for sunlight. . . . . . . Good times.

Anyway, I like how you sunk your pots. I don't grow in pots often, but when I do, I always sink them flush.

Everything is looking good. Good luck.
