Good morning everyone. Hopefully IDPH doesn't do radio silence this week and more people get their cards. Last week was pretty eventful!

@Madia You gotta let me know how the clinic is if you go to soon. You can DM me if you'd like. I'm curious about prices, welcome package, service all that stuff.

I know October seems so far off but I just wanted to ask if someone from IDPH will email or call when the application is approved / received?
nobody called or emailed me, wish they did.
using your paperwork turn in date, add two days
then mark your calendar every ten days from that date.
on day 45 call them and find out the status of your app
on day 70 call them again and find out the status
then call them every seven days after that. lol
if you notice people here are getting approved, and your app time was around theirs.
you better call again, chances are you are approved too,
have fun and enjoy the wait.

Chief Queef here!

I’m at the first week of March myself, so hopefully not too much longer. Cross your fingers for me Ganja Gang.

Can I get a puff puff?!?!

Thanks for the insight into the process though as it is greatly appreciated. I’m hoping this will go smoothly until October. Much appreciated.

My application was received April 6th. I called today and it would appear they haven't got around to my name yet.

Count is 74 days currently.

For the newbies here, You can call using both of these numbers:
855-636-3688 or 217-782-3300
If you're continually getting the automated message on the first number, call the 2nd. The first number is the Medical Cannabis division, the second is the broader IDPH number but they'll still look up statuses for you.

Setup informed delivery through USPS if you haven't already. Link Here (CLICK ME)

Hey guys been reading here for a while finally decided to post. My application was mailed USPS on April 9th they received it on the 11th. Received generic email that they have it and will process in the order in which it was received. My problem is I have no one to go to. I’m a Marine Corps veteran and I didn’t go thru a doctor or a dispensary to fill out my paperwork. All I did was fill out my application, get my fingerprints taken, and mail a years worth of my medical records from the veterans hospital. I’ve been reading that some of you have actually talked to a live human being to get questions answered. Who do I call regarding this? Any help?

About day 37.. I need July to come and go lol. I think mine should be here around August 6th. I haven’t called yet. Is it a right time to? Or should I wait for day 45?

Hey bud, I'm a USN Veteran!

Keep your spirits high. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to know what's going on. It's very cut and dry for applicants. Here are the scenarios:

1) We haven't received your application.
2) We have received your application.
3) There was an issue with your application(denial reason or what needs to be fixed) [55+ days have receiving application]
4) Approved and being processed for printing. [55+ days have receiving application]

Aaaand its here!!! Just to recap, I went through Innovate Express Care and had them submit my application, photo, and required paperwork. They really take care of everything for you. I paid my fees with a credit card while at IEC and registered for 3 years (mostly because that was the most inexpensive cost per year).

Online consultation / diagnosis: March 27th
In-person visit @ IEC: March 29th
Receipt that Application was submitted: April 3rd
Card Issued on June 8th
Card received on June 18th!!

Hey Ganja Gang, I'm finally legal... my card arrived today!!!!

It's kinda feels like my 21st birthday again... years of sneaking beers and now I get to go into the "bar" (dispensary) tomorrow. :bigjoint:

Timeline:
3/16 - Doctor/ Application service
3/27 - Credit card charged/ IDPH received application
6/06 - Card shows being the issue date
6/18 - Card received USPS

Thanks everyone, this blog and all of you really helped establish realistic expectations and control the anxiety that forms after a three month wait.
