Anyone else catch this. And why am I not surprised to read this.

" Ontario is also creating a special enforcement agency, the Cannabis Intelligence Co-ordination Centre (CICC), to help crack down on illegal sellers, train police and increase collaboration among police forces to enforce the law. Officials, however, have been tight-lipped about how the agency will operate. "

Careful boy n girls. This will be a dirty fight with them playing the dirtiest. I expect a German SS mentality to prevail in order to protect trudy's buddies and the cottages ya know. Save the kids blah blah blah and shit.
All done under the guise of recouping lost taxes. If home growing were disallowed everywhere...this gang of spies and cops is gonna be a problem. They'll be given unlimited powers of surveillance I predict.
You watch.......rat out lines with cash offered to expose illicit cannabis sellers or whatever isn't LP store bought.
This is my prediction after they realize they failed.

They mentioned this way back, but haven’t said much about it until now. The rat-line is laid out in the Gov framework, part of the $500M portion for “enforcing legalization”.

Theyre only going to catch the big timers if that at all. The police already get enough backlash for making pot arrests in terms of wasting resources for something so harmless. I avoid them whenever I can because I've never met a cop I wanted to speak a second time to. Thank goodness for the ACMPR and being able to tell them to kick rocks.

Hell I do not want to speak to them the first time even. All those questions and every answer is "suspicious". The only cop I ever spoke to casually and friendly was passing me a lit joint.
My dad has a cop friend. I brought one of my roughnecks to come help brand calves a couple weeks ago. He offered the cop a hoot of shatter from his vape pen lol. I asked him later if he always offers hoots to cops and he was pretty embarrassed.

and there are ass holes in every walk of life that would try and claim the prize too...
My only hope is karma comes and bites them square in the ass....

really no different than the current Narc on your neighbour program called "crime stoppers"

churches supply alcohol to minors for 'communion'....I demand a crackdown on these organizations that would give a dangerous intoxicant to under aged youth. Where is the rat line for that?

This is going to be fun actually. You can share up to 30g - legally. What's to stop someone from helping a buddy out with a cash 'loan' or gift to return the favour? That's legal too. Large scale sales will still be risky, but selling an oz once in a while is no problem.
I think the black market is going to close up a bit - prices are dropping fast and profits with them. A 1/2 # is going for $500 and I've talked to two growers in the last month who are scaling back. One's looking at the craft industry and the other is just going to grow for friends.

The real money for the states lies in home grower. I know it sounds counter-intuitive. But it creates a horde of micro industries catering from small-scale fertilizers to plant yoyo's.
