The Pentagon pays the NFL millions to put on the events. Most of the time they violate the flag code. The fans are pissed about the kneeling and the league lost money last year. You give the fans what they want or it hurts the bottom line. As a player you have to stand as a business decision even if you hate the country. Eric Reid is a Pro Bowl calibur safety and he can't find work because he kneeled last year. I haven’t in golfed in several years, kind of miss it. More so I miss those friends and our wagering and razzing. We always settled our wagers, not a group you could hang with, obviously. Thanks for the memories even if your quote is wrong.
