Looking good gurl! The early training is very interesting to me, can't wait to see. Old cow manure huh? Crazy...lol. Organic is the way. You will get 5 plus on all of them is my guess...no doubt. You get what you put in!

Hey gangagurl420!!

So I’m gonna get myself some steer and give it a try for next year. Trying for a couple 200 gallon grows.

A couple questions for you if you don’t mind.

Was your steer manure amended with anything before you purchased it?

I’m going to amend mine with fresh comfrey and some kelp meal. Would you recommend any other amendments?

I can purchase 2 year old manure for $165 a yard, and amend it. Or I can get 1 year old manure free, and amend it with said ingredients.

Your recommendation on which avenue to take would be greatly appreciated.

As far as if it's better? I don't have an answer to that...but the reason I use both of them is because it's loaded with beneficial innoculants. And between the two it already has everything I need. Takes the guess work out. The price is just a bonus...tho because it's not made for "weed" I believe that is why it's cheaper. Seems once something is specifically made for weed they charge a shit ton more lol.
It will cost me about 240 for all the dry nutes I will need...and 300 for 5000 gallons of manure so all in all I get by way cheaper then most do.

Thanks RIBrian. I read the whole post and know she amends after she gets the manure with Espoma garden tone and Happy frog bulb food.

I wanted to know if the manure was amended with anything before she acquired it!!

Pretty sure that’s also mentioned as well as I am so abnormally interested in this grow. I mean growing in aged cow poop only. Who’d of thunk

I amend it the same as you would any soil or super soil
