I used the last few forum posters who got their card
to calculate the days to wait, which is 77.

Here is your predicted card receive date
plus or minus five days
chris 2.28 >> 5.16
3/02 >> 5.18
best name 3.11 >> 5.27
me 3.20 >> 6.05
madia 3.28 >> 6.13

almost the same as mediclock isn't it?

Sup fellow 3/20 waiter! I think you're right. Medcardclock used to be inaccurate because the waits were averaging 90 days. Now that the state has sped up a bit, the actual wait time is closer to what medcardclock says. However, we all need to remember to tell medcardclock the date we receive our cards so it stays accurate!

Waiting sucks... however I have used this time to research and re-research every strain that my dispensary has in stock. I looked at the sympyoms the strain is good for treating. Just google the strain name along with the word leafly. No doubt this has saved me money and time. When I do get my card I already know exactly what I'm going to buy.

Please, do tell! I have a tentative list going for what I want on my first trip but I'd love to hear from others!

That's what i did Dadio. I'll give the budtender some purpose and tell him my symptoms and see what he recommends... I plan to test eight strains buying one gram of each, then come back a week later and buy three halves of each favorite. The local dispensary has a few strains with few and no reviews, so I'm not touching those unless they are dirt cheap.

I know me and 1 gram isn't going to cut it. Lol, my first trip sampler platter will be of eighths. :weed:

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. Closer than I was.

Here is my list:

Alien Bubba - Indica - Insomnia, stress, and pain (Cresco labs)

Bermuda Triangle OG - Hybrid - cross of ghost OG, and triangle kush (indica dominant) headaches, and nausea (Revolution)

Critical Mass - High CBD Hybrid - cross of Afghani, and skunk #1 (indica dominant) pain. stress, fatigue, nausea (Wellness) this grower is the only in Illinois that uses aeroponics... dirt free growing. I could personally care less if any dirt was used to grow my cannabis.... as long as it's good. Grower's description - The aeroponic grow process is a soil-free method of cultivating cannabis that results in cleaner, higher-quality plants. Instead of traditional dirt-filled pots, the aeroponic system uses net cups filled with recyclable clay pebbles. Aeroponic cannabis is not only cleaner for the patient, but also is far more environmentally friendly than a traditional dirt grow.

Cookie Jar - Hybrid - cross of platinum girl scout cookies, and white fire alien OG mainly for insomnia - this one is 7 grams of popcorn bud (PharmaCann)

Harle-TSU - High CBD Hybrid - cross of harlequin, and sour tsunami (sativa dominant) pain, inflamation, and stress (Gold Leaf)

Kosher Kush - Indica - insomnia, stress, and pain. (Rythym) Awarded high times indica cup 2010, and 2011. Fun fact - this is the only strain that has been blessed by a Rabbi.

Red Headed Stranger - Sativa - nug run shatter stress, and fatigue (Revolution)

I also plan on getting some shake to infuse honey, and coconut oil.

All of these strains will treat more conditions... I just listed what these strains are most effective for.

ha! that's funny. t

hanks for your list! I agree on the harle-TSU and the cookie jar, those are both on my list too. How are you planning on infusing the honey/coconut oil?

Purpleflower22 When are you expecting to receive your card? I thought we were close. My application was received March 13th, and the check was cashed May 9th.
We are close. But you should expect yours sooner. I'm March 20th and I won't be expecting a check to be cashed because they charged my credit card right after submission. I'll be happy if I get my by June 6th like medcard says but to be honest, I'm hoping to get it at the end of next week. But I'm not counting on anything, especially with it being a holiday weekend.

That sounds wonderful! I can't make up my mind on one strain so I'm getting an ounce of a bunch! I'll probably have to include cresco cookies on my list.

Just FYI I called them to make sure they had mine. She said my submission was March 16th so to expect my card around June 16th. So I guess they are looking at a 3 month wait time still.

I've seen people get their cards this past week who submitted March 12. I don't think you have long to wait. I presume the state over estimates it so people don't call as often.
