My First Grow

Hello this is my very first grow this seedling is 1 and a half weeks old I keep it under a 300watt led lamp and the lamp's distance from the plant is 20", the average temperature is between 73 and 78 degrees. i'm posting this just to see if you have any tips or thoughts on it beacuse it's leaves seem curled to me. Yeah man it looks healthy. Stems purple but that will most likely disappear soon. You're soil looks pretty moist. How often do you water. Seedlings need very little water. What soil is it in? Where did the seed come from?

Looks good, that bottom seedling leaf is a bit odd but i wouldn't worry , but looks like you have no aeration in that soil rice hulls/perlite etc without good aeration it will compact and will not drain well and will hold water and makes it very easy to over water = bad for the roots

i water every 3 or 4 days. I don't know what kind of soil but i know that it's ph was 6.5. The seed came from cannaseed.ch and the strain is white widow x bubblegum

can i still put that in the soil?

You cant add it to the soil that plant is in but you would have to make another pot of soil (add aeration mix by hand) normally a bigger pot (more soil), then transplant into it.. and don't water on a schedule.. water when the first inch or so it dry you should pick the pot up an see how much it weighs when watered an dry. only water when the pot is light. Also are you feeding her?

Yeah, not sure what other more experienced growers will say but I wouldnt wait on a transplant. Get the plant into good soil, or at least aerated soil, before the roots become too developed. More root disruption = more shock to plant.

Looks like the plant will be ready to transplant within a week anyway judging by her size anyway so you might just want to upsize now.

I agree with onionslinger. Your seedling will run into problems will no aeration. I would flip the pot very carefully and knock off as much soil as you can. No rush just be gentle with the roots. I did this with a special queen seedling because I was reusing miracle grow. I dropped her in some fox farm and she took off.

no man i didn't feed her yet i read somewhere that i should start feeding after 3 weeks

okay i transplanted it into another pot with soil and perlit mix but in the process i accidentally broke some roots and i also noticed that some roots have some fuzzy stuff on it

Breaking some roots isn't bad it will motivate them to grow more, i have seen people run a razor blade down the side of the root zone..

I agree ... with my regular plants from a nursery, when I pop them out of those little pots to transplant them into my gardens I ALWAYS score each side - it actually will stimulate new growth. Now, I don’t know that is the case for pot plants though as I grow in hydro ...

Sense u repoted this it Mau take a few days to catch up after slowing down from the pot and soil change give it some light and stay doing that good water technique every 4 days and she will be back on track also don't forget that most widow plants I've grown turn out small or medium sized

slight over watering can cause the leaves to twist slightly.....significant over watering will also include leaf twisting and cupping

I put a fan on my seedlings and perks em right up and makes for thicker/stronger stems to carry more nutrients to make bigger buds. Also, aids in respiration.
