So I am currently running 2 1000w de air cooled hoods over a 3x6 table. I'm trying to save on my electricity bill, would 2 630 lecs yield just as much? Also room is 5x10 and sealed with co2

Also what about a 1440 agro led? Anyone replaced hps with them using co2?

Thanks for ya opinions,
Flunkie

Can you talk about your yields with your current set up? Reason is, because your running 2 DE's in 18 sure feet. Where as the rest of the world is running 1 DE in 25 square feet yielding quite a bit of bud.

Definitely the rest of the world doesn't, I use a 1000w in a 1.2 m tent , gavitas, depends on your grow style , there are no rules

You can do quantum boards or cob lights. I don’t use co2 anymore.

If it’s all to save electricity, I’d go cob like lordhooha mentioned. But it’s literally all what works best for you.
You could even try building one yourself to suit your needs & expand on it if needed. They genuinely seem to be the way forward with most growers - but there’s always some new toy out or being worked on.

I never used co2 & always used either 600 or 1000W hps, the extra heat was a bonus for me here in the UK.
As far as I’m concerned, HID is still the daddy. But that’s just what works best for me.

I always avoided LED’s....I know some are absolutely brilliant, they just wouldn’t float my boat for an entire grow. Plus, they always seem to need more cal mag under LED lights. I’m not sure if it was a fluke for me, the strains I ran or if it’s a known negative.

Definitely the rest of the world doesn't, I use a 1000w in a 1.2 m tent , gavitas, depends on your grow style , there are no rules
Likewise for me, either x2 1000’s or x4 600’s in a 2x2m tent. - for flowering. X2 400w mh’s for veg & a 600w led for seedlings - in saying that I’ll be changing to tubes for seedlings once I’ve my next cycle lined up
Hard to beat the HID’s imo.

Good to hear I'm not too overkill lol, and I just got this 3x6 my last yield was my first grow and it was a 2x2 hydrofarm ebb and flow, I had 9 plants and got a half lb

Ok well I ordered a agro 1440 from the shop I work at, I get a little discount :-) we will see if it's really equivilant to 1400 watts only drawing 865 watts of actual power, I wanted to try the black dog but the hydro shop I work at doesn't carry them and my boss finances stuff for me at no cost....I'll keep y'all posted how it works. I'm going to use it for veg at first but will eventually do a comparison and flower with it
