Listening to "the sound of change" by Dirty Heads currently. I recently stumbled onto Nahko - Wash it Away and listened to it while reading the lyrics WAY too many times.

Try Mozart while dosing! Overture to the Marriage of Figaro, Queen of the night - Magic Flute. The man was intense!

This aria, is from the opera The Magic Flute. It is extremely difficult to sing by many standards.
The aria it's self is said to be Mozart's mother in law, scolding and cursing her daughter to leave Mozart. The whole Magic flute opera is thought to be Mozart, telling the story of him and his wife and their relationship. Just an amazing opera period..

Yes, I enjoy the beauty of opera and it's music..Dosing and going to one is a real moving experience...

Is modern opera alive? You don't like it?
What about the aria from the The Fifth Element. The Diva Dance?

The actress was Luc Basson's girl friend at the time.
The voice singing what was written to be "impossible for humans" to actually sing (the modern end part) is in reality the great Soprano Inva Mula. By the way, she nailed it! No cuts! That is her singing the whole thing...

There are a cpl others who can too.

Really though, for years the sounds of life in the wooded area I live in and near. Buntings and wrens, cardinals and geese. Squirrels, tacoons, possum and coyotes and occasional deer snort. Wind in the leaves with suitable wind chimes. Hear some traffic on some days but quiet most of the time that way. Breezy and sunny with leaves rustling and branches beginning to sway today! Crows making some small talk and whistling squirrels.
