Interesting experiment. I'm also interested, specifically, in how the 4K light performs in flower. Subbed
Us as well. Especially being able to compare them side by side in all stages + lab analysis to actuially gage how well they are doing in comparison to other spectra.

UPDATE
Bulbs have arrived. I will be heading to the facility later on today to start this test.
If any Solis Tek reps are watching, thanks for the Shirts and Hats everything else included. Made my day.
Will update later on today with some warehouse photos.

Agreed, looks very uniform. Hopefully the results will give us something good regarding 4000k
I’ve really started digging the 4K in leds. I remember a time when people would say 4K was almost worthless but I’ve noticed a lot more are using it now. Can’t wait. And the 10k sounds insane, that will be fun to see.

Here are the spectral Graphs for anyone interested

Those graphs are a little missleading, the red section starts at around 575 nm in the graph, this would normally be classified as yellow light, red light starting around 630. No blame to OP, i suppose hps makers like to make out as having as much red as possible.

Have already noticed that. 575 nm is for sure yellow. Will have a chat with SolisTek and find out why that is.

Sorry mates for the lack of updates.
Was just waiting for a harvest to come down so we can do this test properly.
Will have the next round of genetics in this week.
Here is some warehouse pron while you wait.

Now worries the testing is still on.

I couldn’t wait,
I just ordered replacement bulbs , I went with Phillips GreenPower.
Thats one expensive bulb :)
Have tested a few bulbs and all are within a few percent of eachother, even the no name cheap DE HPS bulbs.
Good choice none the less :)
