hello everybody!
hope everybody is doing fine?
i saw the spec the mid-power led, the luxeon 3535l HE plus ( square LES)....
So the Square version, not the round who juste came out; should be the top bin of this model, with lot of different cri and their spec are awesome:
i let you the spec link :
https://www.mouser.com/ds/2/602/DS203-542378.pdf
or from lumiled:
https://www.lumileds.com/products/mid-power-leds/luxeon-3535l
they are going to be:
- cri 70/80/90
-2200k a 6500k
-154lm/w (2700k 90cri) to 200 lm/w @ 6500k@70cri
the 3500k 80cri at 100ma still doing 190 l/w!

SO...When thoses baby beast will come out pliiz, my be the killer led on strip.
pliz? any date?
cheers

Interesting find, max mA is 300mA HE plus which is 50% more than on standard samsung diodes. But it could be down to samsung having an over carefull rating, ledgardener took a qb288 to almost 600w and blew his buckdriver before any diodes blew on the board.

the 90 cri HE Plus (Square LES) has an interesting SPD. I assume its a 2700k version.
The datasheet specifically calls it out over the other 90 cri versions.

yes a mix between thoses 2700k 90cri and 3000 k 80cri should be damn good , they are quit complementary on the red cover if you whatch their spectre
and woow theire 4000k has a really nice spectre, with nice blue/ green <3
hmmm strip on 2700k 90cri and strip on 4000k 80cri ratio 3:1 for the 2700k gonna be my killer led for flower room !!

i wanna know so bad when they will get selled on strip
i already asked digikey europe
they give me that link:
https://www.digikey.com/products/en/optoelectronics/led-lighting-white/124?k=3535l&k=&pkeyword=3535l&FV=ffe0007c&quantity=0&ColumnSort=0&page=1&stock=1&pageSize=25

but as you can see, only the LUXEON 3535L HE Plus version is out on high kelvin temp, not the square one, not the one we want
theire is almost 25lm/w of difference between 3000k from the round version to the square!!! woow

those are really impressive looking.
Look at these too https://store.yujiintl.com/
I am not good at all at figuring out the spec sheets but I like the look of the spectrum.
Maybe we can all work together and figure out a light that is as efficient as an hlg and has the reds we are looking for

i already saw those yuiji , they are making incredible hiiigh power led ( like 300w) , and the cri are amazing, but not sure reaallly adapted for what we wanna do, the Luminous efficacy is very low ( yes the compensation with the good hiigh cri is here, but not enought i think)

well I believe I will be following you and what you are up too, I too would like to pullthetrigger on a latest and greatest light

the violet pump might be a good supplement to boost UVA and deep reds

[edit]
... on second thought the electrical efficiency looks really low even for the 32000k spectrum

shit compared to the HLG boards the lueons arnt even 2/3's as effeicent getting close to 50% at the desired spectrum . This is not the diode we are looking for

sadly

I take it back, I just looked up the efficiency again. I thought I found numbers at 300ish Lm/w but I am mistaken. I couldn't find that page again. THese Luxeons are right in the ballpark of the new data I found. Again I am not good at reading spec sheets so please forgive me

I believe you're talking about the LER of 320-ish lm/w lol

200 lm/w is solid.

I emailed Philips asking if they had any information on the a release of these. We'll see what they say.
