Watering Can from Apple Juice Jug

If you drill holes in the top to a juice jug it still won't work very well as a watering can because of the vacuum. One solution is to poke a hole in the handle. Using a length of air hose to break the vacuum leaves the jug intact and sealable. This will also work with a glass jug.gallon jug watering can P.png

I keep a few gallon jugs around for my seedling/young plant room ....makes it easy to mix when I first start feeding .... And I also will let my tap water sit out in those jugs for a few days before I water my seedlings with it..... Another trick I use is ...I take a 20oz water bottle and poke holes in the screw on cap ....it's the easiest way I've come up
with to water boxes full of solo cups.....I just go down the line squeezing the bottle.

if you want to try another method, check out my thread (link in my sig), and you can use drainage material, in my case pumice, and make little sip solos. works like a charm for solos, 1 gals, and now i'm experimenting with some 5 gals
