Hey Hey, newb here. My plant is Moby Dick it’s day 23 since it opened up its first leaves. The first week and half I drowned the poor baby by over watering. Then fixed that issue after transplanting it. Everything else temp, humidity, ph have been perfect air intake intake perfect. The grow since the first day has only been 4 inches of growth is that normal? The fan leaves are quite small for what I see from other online posts. I’ve attached a picture. Btw when should I start feeding nutes and should I just foilar feed and give the roots nothing but water?

Many thanks !

What type of soil are you using? Still looks pretty small for 23 days. What type of nutrients do you plan on using on them? If you do use the nutes it will have to be a very weak mixture so you don't risk burning the little thing up.

Thanks for the reply, it’s organic miracle grow and I plan on using the fox farm trio. I’ve foilar fed it twice 1/2 strength and tips got burned. Going forward Should I feed the from the roots 1/4 strength?

The main problem you are having is the soil used. Miracle Gro boasts on how their soil won't grow cannabis, and I think they engineer it that way. I would try 1/4 strength and see if you getting any burning on the tips. If possible try to get a better soil mix, allot of people are using Fox Farm soil. In the future stay away from Miracle Gro. A good general purpose potting mix with added perlite is what I use with great results. I'm also using Mega Crop ferts, which are designed for cannabis plants.

Miracle gro is most definitely a no go, and if you do use fox farms ocean forest any time soon do not give veg nutrients! It's what I've been using and good lord that is hot soil. But very good quality as long as you don't overfeed it.

Just to reiterate what everyone has stated above. FUCK MIRACLE-GRO. Just to put it in persective how bad that shit is, even their own website says it's not even suitable for vegetables, flowers, or in ground plants! It won't let me post a link. Just google "organic miraclegro content". Then click the first link which is right to miraclegro's website. Scroll down to where it says "Where not to use". It clearly says it right there. What kind of soil can't grow veggies or flowers!!!! Miracle-Gro is the greatest gardening scam of all time.
